What silly things did you do before you started this?

Also, wayyyy too many sickeningly sweet alcoholic drinks that made me feel sick anyway, especially with my (lifelong, really bad) acid reflux. What's so bad about having a couple of vodka and tonics instead of a half dozen "Sex on the Beach" that made me feel like total crap?
Shut the front door - Sex on the Beach was breakfast lunch and dinner the last couple of times I was in Cuba. Along with food of course, but manoman, they were good!0 -
I used to go to Culver's and get a quadruple cheddar butter burger, with extra cheddar and bacon. Plus 2 orders of fried cheese curds. With ranch. And then I would get a large hot fudge and peanut butter malt instead of a soda. And then eat it all in the car before I went home.
Or I would get one if those giant hershey bars and eat it with a whole 16 oz jar of peanut butter.
I forgot about Hershey bars and Peanut butter!! YUM!!!0 -
I Would eat until I felt sick.
I could get through a great hole bottle of full fat Mayo every week. Now the low fat one lasts a month.
I used to eat Pringles and dip for dinner.
I could get through 4 big big bars of chocolate every week.
I used to take the bus for a 5 minute walking journey.
So bad lol0 -
Going to local restaurant and getting a grilled cheese with Mac and cheese on it dipped in tomato soup and fried pickles appetizer..... Chicago has way too many fatty delicious places to eat0
-
ENTIRE PACKS OF OREOS... like no cookie left behind!
I miss that. lol0 -
Mountain Dew, Mountain Dew, Mountain Dew. So much Mountain Dew. Now a sip makes me feel sick!
Doritos..esp Cool Ranch. A full size bag would be gone in 2 days.
And just way too much takeout/fastfood/pizza in general. SO much pizza...0 -
Oh and peanut butter m&ms...oh how did I forget about those? I would eat SO many - we would buy the big bags at the grocery store and they didnt last more than 2 days...now I stick to single serve bags of Crispy m&ms!0

I would and still do on occasion get a wet burritto with extra cheese and extra sauce and 3 sides of sour cream. It would literally be a pile of sauce and cheese surrounding the burritto. I still do this on occasion as a treat but now I'll only eat half0

This. I LOVED some Mt Dew.... now I can't even remember the last time I had it.0 -
I drove the 10pm-1am shift on the safety shuttle in college--so each time I'd make sure to have a book on tape and a big bag of Swedish fish, which I'd eat no matter how sick I was feeling. At the time I burned it all off running and training for crew, but that habit lasted longer than my training days.0

My husband really likes macaroni and cheese and I'd make two boxes, and we would split it, a little less than a full box for myself and just over a full box for him for dinner.0

Chocolate chip cookies dipped directly into a tub of cream cheese icing. Girl Scout cookies dipped into heavy cream.0

chili cheese fries0

I was on the wings, beer, sports diet0

I love nacho cheese doritos. They're the only ones I like. I would literally get upset with my husband and kids if they touched them. I buy the other kinds for them. Why touch mine? Lol. Also, that was the only food that I couldn't buy for a while because I had no self control. I bought some a few weeks ago and was afraid to open them! So I usually just get the 3/$1 bags even if the big bag is on sale for $1 more. Nacho cheese doritos-how I love thee!!
This is me.
DONT even think of touching my zesty Doritos !!!

Back when I was a gymnast I could eat anything and not gain a single pound. Think family sized frozen lasagnas, whole stacks of pringles, cartons of ice cream, multiple slices of Cheesecake factory cheesecake. Not gonna lie my go to lunch every day of high school was a giant croissant with approximately half a block of full fat cream cheese. You know I should really start gymnastics again...0

Beer. Could drink a 12 pack of craft beer at 160 cals a pop to myself. Was very incorrigible and wouldn't feel a thing til I was black out drunk. Monthly work parties always involved the beers, shots, vodka gummy bears, and assorted junk food. Then I turned 26, got my first (and last) hangover and I stopped that. Obviously not a healthy thing to be doing, physically or mentally.
Cheesecake. My husband makes the most amazing Cheesecake I have ever tasted. I can't leave it alone, so now he only makes one for my birthday, the rest are for clients.
Chips. Family size, you say? Not around me!
Vanilla bean ice cream. I could easily demolish a tub of it, drowned in a few shots of good espresso.
Mini Mars bars. 1 bag =1 full size bar, at least in my head.
I should mention that for many years I played rugby, baseball and did the occasional roller derby. I stopped doing those things, but continued to eat like I was still that active.
The list goes on. I'm surprised I'm not a 400 pound alcoholic.

Oh, and I used to eat an entire pint of Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey in one sitting too.
Oh, oh, and I could down an entire bag of BBQ potato chips by myself in like 10 minutes.
Now I don't buy those yummy things, because I could/would still do all of the above if I had a bad day.

Before counting calories and believing in fad diets and eating "clean", I made all kinds of concoctions. Oatmeal, peanut butter and cottage cheese in one bowl for example. LOL0

Ditto.
I miss sitting at the computer playing with my guild buddies and having snacks within reach so I only had to leave the missions to go pee. Also, eating the whole plate/package of food at restaurants and home. Eating to satisfaction, I miss thee.
What game? I've been getting really into FFXIV lately0 -

Wow...its like you looked in my window! LOL
Funfetti frosting - just pop it open and use a spoon.
Ben & Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk or Cookie Dough
Tostitoes and covered with cheese and salsa. Just one bag will do.

I just shelved that game, well a couple months ago. Loved it (and respectively FFXI for many (way too many years))
Great game, I just don't have the time anymore0 -

A couple months ago I was hooked on ArcheAge...I'm kind of an MMO nut haha Definitely a timesuck but worth it!0 -
Take Oreos and dip them in whatever my fave ice cream of the moment was. To include as many Oreos as it took to finish a pint of ice cream!0

On one memorable night, at the all-you-can eat sushi restaurant, I personally ate 7 sushi rolls, 17 pieces of nigiri, 3 orders of shrimp tempura, two orders of shumai, an order of teriyaki beef, bowl of miso soup, egg pudding and three scoops of green tea ice cream.
It was glorious, but it literally hurt to breathe for a couple hours afterwards.0 -

lol I trained for a marathon despite having NO running experience. Did it for 6 months. Lost a few inches Then three weeks before the marathon I went for a 23 mile run and fractured a metatarsal. I stopped running for months, and barely even walked. Gained the wait back plus twenty pounds.
Did a lot of Bikram yoga for a while. Sometimes I'd do double sessions, back to back. Then I'd burst out exhausted and hungry, with no plan about what to eat. I'd have nothing in my bag - not even some almonds or a granola bar, and I'd remember that I barely have anything to eat at home (I had a habit of buying groceries irregularly). And in this situation, I'd leave the Bikram studio and walk home, passing a restaurant with my favorite pad thai, and then Columbian rotisserie chicken, and then a Mexican taqueria, lol. It was a set up for disaster. Sometimes I'd stick it out, but many times I just gave it and undid the 90 minutes of work and my money. Thing is I did lose a bit of weight and look a lot better. But I would have gotten twice as far if I had watched my diet first and just did a couple sessions of Bikram a week with a light snack right after.
On Friday night, I realized the importance of meal planning. My thought process could have been a joke, lol. I had salmon nicoise planned for the evening. I traveled home after a long day at work. Drove past all my favorite restaurants, and each time I was like "oh, Korean fried chicken! No, I have a salmon nicoise at home. Oh! Mapo tofu. No, I have a salmon nicoise at home. Oh, lamb kebabs and dill rice! No, I have a salmon nicoise at home. Oh! Bibimbab - that's healthy. No, I have a portioned out salmon nicoise at home. . . "
This was me!! I would go to a fitness class and then get an enormous burrito on my way home. Any time I expended any energy I would reward myself with well over twice the calories I burned.
edit: fixed bold tag0 -
Craft beer and bottle shares. I still have VERY active in the craft beer community, but I have cut way way back on my beer intake. I usually with get a smaller pour, share with my fiancé, or take a sip from someone else's full pour so I can at least try it if it's new-to-me. (If you're on the app Untappd - you can find me under crzyb16agirl and see my #craftbeerproblems for yourself. lmao)
My mom's blue cheese salad dressing recipe is the best... I would make it and just eat the dressing with a spoon. Sometime I would make a salad just so I had an excuse to eat more dressing.
Grilled cheese sandwiches with the bread spread in butter (both sides) before toasting it in a skillet.
If we didn't have anything sweet to snack on, I would put a handful (more like two or three) of chocolate chips I use for baking into a paper towel and snack on those.
Dipping everything and anything into ranch or blue cheese dressing (see a theme there?)0
