I am 5'5", 37 years old, mom of 2 and weigh 146-148ish, body fat % probably in the high teens. Hope that helps.

All of this!!!! Yes!

There is so much wrong with this post...I don't even know where to begin. All I can say is you need to figure out what type of body you are aiming for and then research how to achieve it. If you are going for (pardon the term) "skinny-fat" with a high chance of regaining most or all of the weight then please continue on…

It doesn't "weigh more" as 1lb = 1lb....but 1lb of muscle takes up MUCH less room than 1lb of fat. I am 5'5", 148 lbs, quite muscular and much smaller around all over than I was even at 130lbs and only doing cardio. My body fat is much lower and I look so much better (clothed and naked) and am more confident.

I agree with this. I wouldn't approach someone and assume they wanted my help...they would either need to look helplessly around or approach me. I know I wouldn't want anyone to offer me assistance if I didn't need it. I still have people (well, men) offer to take 45's off the bar for me, which annoys me no matter how much…

I haven't read the other replies, but just wanted to say not to be intimidated. I am quite shy and it took me a while to feel comfortable in the weights section of my gyms. Now I have no trouble and feel confident and strong. It has helped me in so many other aspects of my life as well as that confidence carries over. You…

19 lbs of solid muscle in 3 weeks, hahahahaha! Even the most expensive "supplements" can't achieve that! 19 lbs of water weight + fat + undigested food + exaggeration + a few pounds of muscle (maybe) could have happened...but not 100% all of it as pure muscle.

Does the 1500 calories include the exercise calories that you admit to "eating back"? Where did the 1500 limit come from? If you have just randomly picked that number then you should search "In Place Of A Road Map" here in the forums and calculate an accurate caloric intake. If you already have done that and that is what…

Maybe don't "pre-make" plans that involve alcohol OR limit your consumption of it by pre-logging it and sticking to your plan. Also, limiting alcohol is not saying goodbye to your youth...if you actually believe that then there may be some other issues at play here.

Yes, all of this! Also, my IG account is 95% fitness related and my FB account is probably 50%. This keeps me motivated because I see others going after what they want and as silly as it sounds, it makes me feel like I am part of something. If I was just going about this without the support of my own little fitness…

What I eat now is not what I ate to lose weight so my current diary wouldn't be very helpful to anyone else as I basically eat what I want in moderation.

Of course (as long as it wasn't blank) lol

I appreciate your ambition....but I also worry that you are putting too much pressure on yourself and will either quit or hurt yourself. Slow and steady is the route you should be on in my opinion. Gradual changes are the ones that last. This just seems like a recipe for failure to be brutally honest. I was at a normal…
