I am 5'1" and 127lbs and was given 1200 calories. I always find myself starving the day after a hard workout so I usually eat back the extra calories then.

Not far from me. Lots of family live in Gosport & Lee so I am down there a lot

I tried it once and have vowed never to do it again until I can run the full 5k without having to stop before I go back! Was a great atmosphere though.

I started Beach Body yesterday, so have only done the fit test so far. I would love to have people to talk to and share experiences. Also maybe sharing fit test results, I am curious to see how other people did and how they progress.

[/quote] Sounds like the hotel from hell. I would rarther check into the Bates motel :). Look into intra workout food. It sounds strange, but sweets such as Jelly babies are good for quick energy release and will not sit heavy on your tummy. Just eat them during and in between classes and what everyone else said too.…

God no! Its a one off fitness day at a hotel, I think they happen every few months and a friend of mine is dragging me along to this one. Plus I get to try boxing and other martial arts which I have always wanted to do. That's very helpful information, thanks so much. Links are great

Thanks. Is it high protein snacks I am looking for? I am guessing light food is better than 'filling' food as I don't want to vomit half way through the class!!
-
Great thanks, that's really helpful. I'm useless at food stuff etc.

What kind of food should I take? Nothing too heavy I'm assuming, but I am at a complete loss! Also, should I take a sports drink instead of / as well as water to keep me hydrated?

I am starting one today. 60 days I think it is. I am excited and scared lol

So far so good. Its only been a couple of days but already I feel so much better. I am much less bloated and enjoying my meals more (instead of shoving food into an already full and bloated stomach). I agree, its not for everyone, I don't know how I am managing to do it, it but I am. I will stick with it for as long as I…

I was just thinking about this this morning. Sitting at my desk all day constantly thinking about food and when / what I will next eat! No matter how full I am, I will always squeeze more in. I am going to go 'cold turkey' today and only eat when I am truly hungry and hopefully the want to eat constantly will stop! Thanks…

I always like friends to help with motivation!

It wasn't a sleeve gastronomy as such. I had a stomach tumour and when they went to remove it they realised they hatheyake 70% of my stomach out with it. This means I can no longer tolerate sugar and have to have 6 meals / snacks a day instead of the normal 3 meals a day. Just wondering how many other people are in this…

I am still seeing my surgeon and am in contact with a dietician, I just wondered if anyone else is in this situation and how they cope. It is rather specific, but I know it is also very similar to a gastric band so wondered if there is anyone else in my kind of situation. I knew it was a long shot :(

I'm in Surrey. I'm on 1200 but my daily exercise adds a lot more each day. I'm also veggie and find it hard to get the protein and calories from my veggie diet (mainly quorn!)

I had an hours spinning class today. Doing my first 5k parkrun on Saturday... I know I'm going to come in last haha
