My absolute favorite is brown a ground turkey with a tbsp or so of olive oil. Once meat is browned, add garlic. Cook until fragrant. Toss is a bag of shredded coleslaw mix. Cook until tender. Finish with soy, ginger, crushed red pepper or even a bottled asian sauce. It honestly tastes similar to inside of an egg roll.…

Mushroom quesadillas are the bomb! Sautee mushrooms with garlic, onions and little thyme. I like the ole xtreme wellness tortillas. Tortilla, provolone cheese, mushroom mixture, provolone, fold over tortilla. Cook in nonstick skillet with butter or I use olive oil spray. Deeeeelicious! Also, stuffed peppers. Vegetarian…

I cook something a little different but it has coleslaw mix. I brown a pound of ground turkey. I then add in minced garlic, ground ginger and green onion. Toss in my bag of coleslaw mix. After it wilts down some, I add a tiny amount of soy sauce and/or teriyaki. It tastes like the inside of an egg roll. It's very good.

I'm a mom to four. Two of my children are in college; two at home. One with autism. I work full time. Leave at 6 am; return at 6 pm. I'm married but my husband works nights so it feels like being a single parent. I cook most of our meals because it cost effective and I enjoy cooking but it's nothing elegant or time…

I'm in a funky mood. Food just does not sound appealing at all today. So it's protein shakes today.

Speaking from experience. When I first began, I was eating similar. I probably ate around 1000 to 1100 calories. Not a much protein. Mostly vegetables. My energy went down but also, my hair began falling out. I don't mean a little. I mean constantly. I learned from it.

My goal is 1200 calories. I'm one of those people @try2again is talking about. I'm 5 feet tall, 44 years old, 10 pound goal loss, work at a desk and I have lupus. Some days 1200 is easy breezy. Other days I want to eat everything that will not eat me. :D I've been trying to work more with my diet for my autoimmune to see…

I normally fix mine like a salad: lettuce, tomato, diced pickles, onions, etc. (what I like on a burger). I then top with a hamburger patty or crumbled hamburger. Top with cheese, real bacon bits and homemade 1,000 island. I'm sure you could add croutons for the bread or toast.
