My jeans are so loose at the end of the day, I have to hike them up all the time. Also, I'm hardly doing any modifications with my workouts any more.

Thanks for posting this, I'd never heard the word Courgette!

I said no to slacking off again and not putting in my food. I also said no to all the candy offered me today - but did enjoy sharing 1 tiny pack of sixlets with my two year old. 6 for him and he fed me two!

THIS! This is a big reason I exercise and make sure my kids see that I work out - and talk about wanting a strong (not skinny) body. With three girls, I want them to be happy with their bodies, whatever their shape. I want them to be strong and healthy but not obsessive. Great story!
-
Today I'm starting again and saying no to all the candy - until I pass them out tonight to the trick-or-treaters. I'll work in 3 micro-mini treats while I pass them out to others.

Love this! Self esteem for the win!

Put on some shorts I hadn't worn in 6 months because they were too snug, and not only did they go on easy - they were sitting a bit too low on my body by the end of the day. Cool!

No grilled cheese? You deserve a gold star.
-
I said NO to all the junior mints. Just had a few and gave the rest away.
-
It was easy to choose an apple over a twinkie today.
-
I said NO to a twinkie my husband brought to me. But yes to a pumpkin spice cupcake (160 cals, so not too terrible) because you've got to say yes to some things.
-
I decided to pull my scale out of the closet where I hid it, and see how things were going. Still the same, but I feel thinner, so that's good!
-
I said NO to nothing at my daughter's birthday breakfast. Now I have to say no the rest of the day! lol!
-
My main 'problem area' is my tummy. Today I looked at myself and realized that it's noticeably smaller.
-
Said NO to the McDonalds fries my husband brought home, but yes to the grilled chicken sandwich.
-
Everyone's body is different. You've got to feel better even if the scale or your clothes aren't giving your the props you wish they were :) I've been doing this for 60 days now and I'm still in the same 12's I started in, though they fit a little better. And only 10 lbs down too! BUT I'm stronger and happier and am used…

Sleeping better! Big NSV for me.

You could totally make that a two-for-one by putting the $$ you would have spent on that unhealthy lunch into a jar and save it for something special!

No to cookies and ice cream, yes to chicken, and going to church.
-
It's incredible what you've accomplished already! You'll soon be hiking like you want to. Do you have access to the internet on a tablet? You can spend hours reading about healthy activities and people who have done the same as you. It's wonderful that you want to honor your late husband by getting back into life. He is no…

I said NO to the big fajita dinner at church, and just enjoyed a bit of grilled chicken, since I was still full from lunch.
-
Ran a ton of errands today and ended up with kind of a big lunch. Tonight was a church dinner, but instead of stuffing myself, I helped with set-up and finding people seats, then I just ate a bit of grilled chicken. The old me felt that if there was free food, I needed to allow myself to indulge because I didn't have to…

My fitted T-shirts are starting to bag around the middle a bit. Woo!
-
Good job! I usually think those things are going to be awesome, and instead are all chemical tasting and they leave a film in my mouth. Gah. Save yourself, lauraleefaith! Oh, you already did!
-
Today I said NO to breakfast. And ate cookies. Ok, not the BEST choice, but calorie wise, still within my breakfast calories. Hey, you gotta have cookie breakfast once in a while.
-
I said no to lots of fatty, sugary things today without really thinking about it. 40 days in I'm starting to figure this lifestyle change out.
-
Found an old dress I loved - and it looks awesome.
-
Did my morning walk and then did it again because I felt good.
-
I said no to the box of doughnuts from my neighbor - my kids enjoyed them though.
-
I said no to getting my scale out and fretting. I'm working hard and will look again in a week or so.
