It is unlikely you are gaining weight while eating 1200 calories. Most probably you are underestimating your calories if the shift is not because of water weight

Great, thanks!
-
Thanks a lot! Will do.

Thanks! Much appreciated. As a noob, I was a bit worried. A small question - Are my hips going back sufficiently while starting? Also which muscles should be involved. I feel a lot of push comes from my knee and legs.

Thanks! Is it because my hips are not back sufficiently? Would post front/ back on next squat day.

You are underestimating your calories.

I have reduced addition of refined sugar while preparing my food. Processed food just appear too sweet now. Whether you cut sugar or not is a matter of preference, as long as it fits in your macros.

Keep continuing on losing fat. You can't spot reduce fat.

If you can set up a small gym at home with free weights, that could work excellent, else walking, running etc are useful. Losing weight is a mix of diet and exercise. Don't neglect either.

You need to start with the TDEE of your present weight and take a % cut (depending on your body - 20% is usually recommended), and then calculate the target calories. The macro split is calculated from your target calories.

High protein foods such as chicken breast, low cal milk, egg whites etc. might help.

1400 calories in a day is not bad! Stop overstressing yourself or putting yourself in a regime which wont work.
-
Looks difficult with respect to carbs. Too low, I guess. What are you planning to eat?
-
Amazing!

Can't live without dairy!!

Do squats and body weight exercises at home. You seem to be having too many carbs. Cut down on carbs and increase protein intake. The key is to have a calorie deficit.

Gold Standard is good. Though not the optimal way, but whey protein is excellent to increase proteins in your diet while cutting down on carbs.
