Thanks all. I'll check out your suggestions.

I keep falling off the wagon too, but I haven't given it up. Neither have you. Good luck! I'll send a friend request.

Hey! I lived in Georgia once upon a time. We're in Maryland now. I have a 7 yo and a 6 yo, we homeschool, and I have yet to lose the baby weight. Grr. You can add me if you like. I'm old, though, older than all of you (above).

MFP is a great tool. And it's free! You can add me too if you want.

Good luck to you! Yes, it takes more than wishing and thinking, which I've done a lot of this past year. MFP does work if we use it. You can add me as a friend if you like.

I homeschool too, and I just spent almost all day sitting at the dining room table getting two kids through lessons. We did get a walk in, picked up so many leaves I'm surprised there are any left on the ground. Add me if you'd like. You can do it!

You haven't failed yet, not if you're still trying. You can add me.

You can add me. I injured myself at the beginning of June and put on everything I'd lost at the start of the year. Grr. Good luck to you this time around!

Aw, I grew up in Crawford County, which I guess is NWPA. Miss my country road. Living outside Baltimore now.

I'm 42 and haven't been able to lose the baby weight - for almost six years now. Just gotta keep trying! I could use the encouragement and accountability too.

You can add me. I've had a lazy summer after an injury and family visiting long term. Getting back to my old routine now and looking for more motivation too.

You can add me too!

Part of my problem is that I'm home all day, and indiscriminate munching happens. But on days when I've been good, I usually have enough calories left to have a sensible dinner. Putting sauces that might go over pasta or rice over spinach instead is an excellent idea, and I've thought maybe I should start eating a few…

Thanks again all. I guess I just need better control and portion measurement at dinner time.
-
Thanks! I'm getting the portion control message, I'm going to have to have to be more conscientious about that. The whole tired (erm, lazy) by dinnertime thing I'm going to have to work on. We also all eat the same thing (almost 7 yo and 5 yo, and husband). We rarely eat out. I force my kids to eat things like tagines and…

You can do it! Add me if you want.

You could add me, always looking for more positive and encouraging words as we get healthy!

You can add me if you like. Let me know what helps for motivation. So far the friends I've made on here, we just like statuses and say encouraging things. Good luck to ya!

You can add me. I lost my groove years ago, finally trying to get it back.
-
You can add me! I'm 42 too, with a six and five year old. I homeschool them and we don't get out much, especially in winter. My husband and I love hiking and used to do a lot of back-country hiking before the kids. I'll send you a request, or you send me one if I can't figure it out.

Hey there. Keep your chin up. I've been back on MFP for a month now, and have mostly used the site to pinpoint my problem areas and how to change them. Like realizing if I save my walk/run on the treadmill for late afternoon, that usually keeps me from eating half a bag of cheese curls at that time. You can friend me if…

Hi there. I'd love the encouragement too. I've been trying to lose weight since my daughter was born, and that was 5 years ago! Trying to add friends and find some accountability, maybe that will help this time.

You can add me! I need accountability and encouragement.

You can add me. I'm trying to lose baby weight. Erm, my baby is 5 years old.

You can add me! I homeschool a first grader and will add my daughter to the mix this fall. And we want a farm too! Saving money right now and looking for the right place. Good luck with the whole shebang!
