I'm trying to lose 50 lbs or so, but I want to focus more on overall health and strength than a scale number. Getting down to 160 or so is my first step, then I want to start weight training. After that I won't be too worried about my weight, as long as I feel good. Feel free to add me.

Does anyone have a Galaxy S5? I'm using the S Health app that came with it right now, but I have no idea how accurate it is for steps. I work in food service and I feel I'm burning a lot more calories and moving a lot more than S Health reports (usually under 200 calories a day) probably because I slide or sway sideways…

Earlier this week I sort of snapped and demanded gym time for myself. Now I get to leave husband to do the toddler's bath and bedtime and go read on the treadmill and cycle. I work out longer because it's the only time I get to read.

I just got a kitchen scale. It's great; I was way off on my estimation for how much chicken I used in a recipe last night. Got to weigh it before it went into the skillet. I overestimated by half a pound!
