And I find the recipe builder to be cumbersome on the app. If you use the website to build your recipes it is easier (in my opinion). I use it religiously though, as this plan has had me making my own food far more than I ever did before. Good luck!

I have done it for the last 90 days. Some weeks slightly more, some weeks slightly less. 33 pounds since January 1st. I exercise outside of my normal routine 3-4 times per week. And for the sake of full disclosure, my ultimate weight loss goal is 100 pounds. I had (and still have) a lot to lose, but I have been religious…

I also have the Charge HR and I agree with this post. 10-11k is about 5 miles. I am also 5'7". I walk a 2.42 mile circle and it's no where near 9k steps.

Yes, and yes! I started in January at 291. I weighed 257 this week. I too am just an average person who needed a kick start. MFP paired with my Fitbit has honestly changed my life. I am motivated, I have seen fantastic results without having to buy special food or go to meetings. It has opened my eyes to new recipes and…

I have to have snacks or I way overeat at meals. That is how I ended up this heavy. I prepare on the weekend for the upcoming week. My current favorite is roasted butternut squash. I cut the squash into 1 inch cubes, roast it and then portion it out for the week for between meal snacks. I also enjoy cottage cheese with…

Thank you! This makes sense. I am very new to Fitbit and I love it. I guess I am nit picking a bit. I appreciate your help.

Thanks! I have it set for dominant hand, but it seems that it doesn't accurately record my flights of stairs. I do stairs all day every day and it's registering about half.

Got the Charge HR for my birthday. I absolutely love it!!

Adjusting your portion in the diary should do it for you. I have actually been logging the portion size that I think I will want to eat BEFORE I actually serve and eat it. This way I can decide if what I want meshes with what I can afford to eat at the time. Last night I made chicken tacos. Normally I would have eaten 2,…
