its going to be more condensed (for lack of a better term) so 100 g cooked is going to be more meat since some fat and moisture are cooked out of it. works the same as it would with spinach but to less of a degree. if you took 100 g spinach raw and cooked it down your gonna get much less cooked product and would need to…

my wegmans sells them. I found you can get them on thrive too for a decent price. sometimes aldi has it too that's where I got it last time, just have to stalk the specials and stock up when they have them lol
-
yeah I bought mine last year at aldi when they had them, just to have on hand. Then I ran out of lunch stuff and grabbed a box cuz they are easy to cook in the microwave and added what I had and found I really like it a lot. So now I think i'll be ordering a bunch more to have on hand. 25 grams of protein per serving too…

I've never been able to eat those, the consistency is just so off to me. I have been eating edamame and black bean pasta a lot lately. High in fiber so the net carbs is decent. I eat it with chicken and pesto. I've been thinking about doing it with hot sauce and crumbled blue cheese too. I feel like that would be really…

800 calories total for the day? when working out? no this is awful advice, I don't care if a "doctor" told you to do it, its unhealthy and a recipe for disaster. not only will you "hit the wall" you will be damaging your body if you plan to do this for any extended period of time. I'd spend some time searching around the…

cauli crust pizza works, if you like it. fathead pizza tastes better, that could work too. I used to do foil packets with fish on top of zucchini and sliced tomato with lemon pepper seasonings and olive oil baked in the oven. its fantastic, could be done with shrimp as well

oh my its been a while since I posted cat pics lol things have changed quite a bit since the last time. gonna have to go through and find some good ones to share. the four scoundrels that showed up in September are still living with us and I'm figuring that's permanent, I'm way too attached to them at this point, even…

I agree with knit you need sodium. I have naturally low bp its never an issue donating blood as long as I don't try to rush getting up. but when low carb it tends to drop pretty low and if I were to donate during those times it would be really rough. try drinking some ketoade leading up to it see if that helps any

awe so sweet what a cutie
-
yeah unless it was a sweet wine, even if it was 30 seems really high. the dry wines are typically 2-5g per 5 oz glass
-
When I was keto I used isopure zerocarb the cookies and cream wa's really yummy. I now use vitamin world whey protein isolate precision engineered, I'm not keto but it's very low carb I think 2g per serving and tastes great

If you live near a Starbucks that does the nitro cold brew I'd try that too it makes it creamy and frothy without adding anything to it.
-
sbucks sells a milk frother, it has a base it sets on then put cream in and the lid on and it heats and froths then stops when done. We got one with our verismo machine, it's great and can be purchased on its own.

Theres way more to it than that. Eating more calories than your body burns causes weight gain. Insulin stores glucose in excess of what your body is burning then when your body needs that fuel for activity it is pulled from the fat stores.
-
calories still count regardless of woe, and with a full cup of hwc added to a coffee it can really add I huge chunk to your daily intake. Your statement about "any sweet stuff, sugar free or not" causing weight gain is false. Diet products don't work because they simply don't work, most are garbage and always have a…
-
I always did the iced Americano with hwc, a little tip, order the heavy cream on the side, they will give you a small cup of it and you can add as much as you like. then tend to be very heavy handed with it not realizing how a little goes a long way. on the side you can control the amount and keep calories more in check.…

i prefer lifting but rowing is a killer workout
-
No I lost 13 lbs since starting. I haven't lost anything more in the last two months. Which is when I increased my calories to maintenance.
-
Thanks, I will look at some calculators and see start they say, mfp is set for maintenance and since I've maintained weight for about two months I think I'm right on. Some days I'm hungrier than others but they seem to level out to just about right over the course of the week

@Maxxitt thanks for that link, I had read thru that one years ago but I want ready for it. From skimming through again (it actually makes sense to me now) but sadly I think what's missing in my equation is gonna be patience :/ the posts all state it's a slow process. Thankfully I have done photos and measurements so I'll…

I do a trx class three times a week for 45 minutes. Then 1-2 days a week we lift, sorry I'm new to the lifting part only a couple months so far with that, I'll just list the stuff we do. Deadlifts, squats, bench press, pull ups, dips, lunges, skull crushers, bicep curls, push ups, etc. I work with a trainer so I just do…

Yeah I decided not to do gloves too, they would've sucked if I did have them and my hands were just fine. I also was able to clean all the mud out of my clothes and sneakers no problem so I'm glad I didn't spend money on new shoes. Though since now I'm going to do more events I think I will invest in something for the…

Do it, you won't regret it. By the end I was so exhausted all I could do is swear and rambling sentences and laugh. It was such an incredible physical challenge you would've thought I hated the whole experience. But as soon as I was done I couldn't wait to sign up for the next one.

Thanks all so much for the tips. We ran it on the 5th. I wore my Nike's as they are getting old anyway and need new ones as is. We ran it on a ski resort after two days of rain, needless to say plenty of mud. It was about 65 degrees and rained most of the time. We only did the half, so five miles and it took me over 4…

lol yeah just hoping to get through. thanks for the tips everyone
-
my regular runners are a pair of nike's and they don't have tons of grip on them, I'm not sure how they would handle the mud. my old sneakers are just junk sneakers that have almost no tread at all left on them. I found a pair of merrell all out crush men's on clearance that should fit based on converting from women's to…

bummer, I thought that's the response I'd get. I honestly don't know if I'll ever do another one, I guess if its here every year I would probably do it each time. I guess I'm gonna have to start trail running lol. I know I saw so many videos of people trying to get up Everest 2.0 that I thought there's no way with my…

I found it, thank you for your help

No I didn't comment on the thread. The post was a comment from I guess an older thread that was copied.
