True. Literally every diet will encourage drinking water if you're feeling hungry. Back in my low fat days I followed the advice faithfully but it would leave me feeling hollow and even hungrier. I'm amazed how full I feel after some water now. It feels like I've actually eaten good solid food :)

I seem to be edging slowly to a carnivore lifestyle. I'm eating fewer and fewer veggies every week...

Thanks @Sunny_Bunny_ I will try and update my app.

Yes! This! So true!

Can the cauliflower rice be frozen or do I need to make a new batch every time? I do a lot of bulk cooking to save time during the week.

My name means Mrs Kanyenga in my language. I joined MFP just before my wedding for the usual reasons and I was very excited about being the Mrs!

I've been low carb for about 4 months and have lost only 7kg. I'm hoping running will help me lose a little faster. @mwyvr Thanks for the encouragement. I'm definitely shaking out my running shoes today.

This is my thinking exactly. I used to do C25K and ran a few races. I'm looking at 3 to 4 times a week for about 30 mins. I'm not likely to run myself into the ground. Too lazy!

Oh yes this! I'm making this my next goal. Right now I'm looking forward to my first pay check in almost 5 months so I can stock up on some of my favourite keto stuff. I haven't had steak in forever!

You look around for something to sop up the grease left in the burger pan. And bread won't do!

I'm Constance, 35yo married mother of a 41/2 yo living in South Africa.I've been on MFP for about 3 years but not really doing anything useful until this year when I decided to take my weight loss seriously. I'm truly a professional yo yo dieter. I could never stay on a diet for longer than two weeks. When I hit 90kg / 198…

I'm assuming counting calories means keeping a limit on how many one consumes. I count calories on MFP with a limit of 1300 since I am very short - 152cm, roughly 5' dead. Having said that however, I don't weigh or measure my food most of the time since I find it very irritating. Most of my logs are of guesstimated amounts…

Oh yes a freezer full of meat and bacon. Oh heaven!

Welcome @35in90 :)

Oh I forgot - getting one of those fancy coffee machines instead of making my BPC with instant yuck!
-
@Karlottap I have plenty of these too but I didn't know I could use them without chemicals, which I hate the smell of. Thank you for the idea. Busting that layer of grease today!

I actually make this all the time and is really easy. 2/3 cup HWC, 1/3 cup full cream milk ( you can use almond milk or coconut milk) , 2 egg yolks, 1tsp vanilla essence and a pinch of salt. In a saucepan on low heat until it starts to thicken. Remove once it's starts bubbling and let it cool. Oh and sweeten to your taste.…

Walked 4.5km today. Good start so far. :)

This ^^. And I'm a data and spreadsheet addict. Yes the number does jump up on occasion but I look at the big picture and see the trend on my graph. I did kick my last scale in anger once and it shattered into a million pieces. That was the last glass scale I bought. :D

That's awful! I will be praying for you and your son.

When the sharks attack I just ignore my calories and eat to hunger. I just make sure I'm below my upper carb limit. I really hate knuckling down. And don't handle hanger very well. Good thing is just a few days a month so just hang in there. I finished yesterday (Yohoo!) and already the scale is going down.

I will do some form of exercise at least 5 days a week. Most probably walking and weight training. I have a pretty well stocked home gym that my hubby put together a couple of years ago so no need to join a gym. I walk quite a bit already but I want to increase my mileage significantly. Maybe up to 25km a week. I hope to…

I'm kinda glad I'm not the only one suffering. Misery love company :) . Ive been starving and craving carbs like never before. Also went up 1.5kg. That totally killed my monthly loss to date. [quote="KnitOrMiss;32674335" I'm up almost 2.5 pounds, but I know it will come back off when it's ready, plus I lost about 7 pounds…

Lol! This is so true! This is a great way to think about it.

Thanks for the explanation. I think we just call it canned Ham.
