Last month I lost 75kg. My deadbeat husband, that is. But I refuse to be the fat ex-wife. This year is the year I go back to the wonderful hot woman he married and completely took for granted for 8 years. January goals 1. Go back to basics with keto. Maximum 25 carbs per day. I'll shoot for 20 but I like the wiggle room.…

@ladipoet Thank you so very much!

Sorry somehow the rest of the post did not post. A couple of years ago someone in the group posted how to get the lost days back. Please help!

Bet you wrote that with a big grin on your face; )

So do I! But I'm really working on measuring and logging everything. Honest ;) !

Thank you all for you positive responses. I'm glad to hear that it is something that can work with this WOE. @RalfLott do you think you could nudge @neohdiver to share his insights in this discussing?

I lost 0.5kg on my weigh in on Sat. I have made prace with slow weight loss and this to me is good. I'm back at work so travel challenges begin. Lucky for me I'm booked in a hotel with a gym so I squeezed in a walking workout yesterday. My back pain is almost gone so no more excuses. Goals this week : workout out at least…

I definitely will try this. I've only been keto for a week now and I know from previous forays into this WOE that the rumbling will end soon.

This is the best description ever!

I'm in with bells on! I least saw the wagon in July and I'm excited to be getting back to sanity. CW 93kg (about 205lbs.) My highest weight ever I might add GW 65kg (about 143) I'm sure I can lose it all this year especially with the support of you lovely guys

Thank you so much for the support and advise. What I really need is motivation and to be accountable. I am not at all confident that I can win this weightloss game and I know that doubt is a self-fulfilling prophecy. So please help me keep on working at it and not give up again. I don't think I can do this alone.

This is me now trying to recover from Xmas day 2015! I want to stop cheating but I'm finding it really hard to stay on track.

Welcome everyone! I've been on this group for roughly 8 months now but I've been off plan for the past 3 so I feel like a newbie all over again. I'm working harder to stick with it this time. And yes, this group is Awesome!

I'm in! For real this time :D I've been hovering around the same 2kg for the past 4 months and I do need to get back to basics to finish this year strong. And I plan to have a fantastically delicious KETO Christmas. Current weight: 81.8kg Goal weight : 79.6 which will be 10kg lost. Strategy 1. East less than 25 net carbs…

Well said Gale!

@minties82 I'm sorry you feel lonely and overwhelmed. It happens to the best of us. I had a similar episode 2 months ago and instead of bouncing back immediately like you did, I let self pity take over and allowed the binge to continue until now. It's amazing where you have come from and I've always found your posts…

I don't drink sugary sodas even when I'm not trying to lose weight. My greatest indulgence was crunchy corn snacks, French fries and popcorn. I don't handle wheat very well so I rarely eat cakes, breads etc. I did though during my foray into carb land and boy did I pay the price. I did not get the Keto flu the first time…

:D I LOVE it! I'm going to memorize it and sing it in the shower!

No worries. We'll say it for you. BUMP!

True. When I started out out hubby complained about how expensive everything was. Especially after one day back in June I sent him out for a bag of almond flour and some coconut oil. Now he calls me the low maintenance babe. Coz I still have that bag of almond flour.... :D

Thank you all for your support and sage advice. It has really helped me stay in control these last couple of days. I feel I'm over the worst of it. Evidence is that DH bought a chocolate Swiss roll last night for dessert ( he asked for permission first and I said yes. Otherwise he never brings in carbage...) I made myself…

Thanks Carom. I'll start with the snack cupboard today.

Thanks Dan! I've started running sharing and enjoy it so much I could never see it as punishment! But it makes me so hungry. .. Maybe I'll stop the run as the punishment :D

Thank you so much for your inspiration. I remember I used do read everything I could get my hands on about low carbing when I started. I think I should go back to that again. I found it easier to resist temptation then.

Thanks @nicsflyingcircus this is my KISS list to a T.

Thanks @toadqueen. Why would you discourage a fast not be longer than 72 hours? And did you lose only water? In sure some of it was fat if you are nothing in the 40 days.
