I think my body must have gone into shock!!! I've had a night off tonight so I'm back in the gym tomorrow and then swim Wednesday. Night off Thursday and then Gym Friday morning.

I have upped my exercise. I used to only go swimming twice a week. I do weigh my food, especially pasta and rice and I eat very little, if any bread. Thanks for your reply. I'll keep going and hopefully it will start shifting soon. I'll try and move my question.

I fry up some lean mince, tin of tomatoes and tin of kidney beans. You can also add some peppers. I make up the wraps and leave them to cool before putting them in a baking tray to freeze in batches. My cravings are at night too. I do what someone else has stated here and pre-log the days calories. Then I can see what's left and I either go over (only slightly) as I don't have the whole thing, I.e. Just one biscuit or a taste of something sweet. It does stop me from binging over my day. I try and make sure that I get some exercise that day that I'm going to have a drink. It's hard especially at the weekend when you fancy a drink.

I totally agree with you. We have families and more responsibilities in our 40's. Personally, in my twenties I found it a lot easier to get up early in the morning to do a Cindy Crawford workout video!!!!! I just think it's a slower, less instant fix in your 40's to achieve sustainable weight loss and fitness.

Clean your teeth! The idea is that it will put you off wanting to eat again. Have a lovely soak in a warm bath? Just a couple of suggestions.

Hi I'm from South Wales. Vodka and diet coke or any clear spirit with tonic water too is about the best for alcohol. I Have a night out with the girlies on Friday and going for meal too so double whammy!!!
