  • I feel like I’ve accomplished something! I’ve had 2 days in a row with keeping my carbs below 100. Woo Hoo!! It’s the little things. Also, a friend of mine suggested a devotional called, “Crave”. It helps you to rather than putting your attention of craving for food you put your attention to God. The whole point is craving…
  • Hi! I’ve been off and on my fitness pal for years. I am at my highest weight ever and need help, accountability and support. I had back surgery a year and a half ago. I also have a stressful very demanding job. I’m having a hard time getting an exercise routine down. This group sounds like a place I can fine all of that…
  • I think I agree, I have never heard of that but it sounds terrible.
  • PaulaKro - I agree with addiction to carbs being a disease. Went on vacation and fell off the wagon and I am having a heck of a time getting back on it. That wagon is beating me to death! I could use one of those centers. LOL!
  • Hi! I have been here for about a month I guess. I am new to the Keto lifestyle (not diet) myself. I don't have any advice yet, but hopefully we can learn and succeed together. I am doing good so far, but have stopped losing. I work out with a trainer because I have back and neck troubles. I am keeping my carbs down, but I…
  • I've been reading through a lot of these and I have a question. It might have already been answered. I work out hard twice a week and the other days I get as much activity as possible (taking steps at work, walking as much as my schedule allows). I am doing something everyday. I am new to Keto so I am wondering how many…
  • @canadjineh , I have been taking armor for years and it took them a little while to get me regulated but when they did it made a world of difference. Hopefully, you will continue to feel better as time goes on.
  • I have Hashimoto's as well. I take armour and have just started LCHF approximately a month ago. Combined with exercise I have lost 14 pounds in a month and feel so much better. I don't if it works for everyone but it seems to be working for me as of right now. Also, you'll never know till you try. Mama always told me to…
  • Thank you for sharing!!! I have been successful in the Keto lifestyle for approximately a month. I have failed many times before and this post reminds me of why I failed and why I am succeeding. I think we need to read this every time we start to get distracted to remind us of what we are doing. Thanks again!
  • I've lost 4 pounds! Oh mylanta!!! I honestly thought I'd gained weight. Thank you Jesus!
  • SoleTrainer I know, right! I actually stayed under my carb count that myfitness gives me. I am actually trying to get it below 100 and then drop some more from there. I am just excited that I succeeded somewhere. LOL! Y'all have a great day!
  • Good morning everyone!! God is good, He has given us another day to try to do better than the one before. I did great yesterday until the can of sour cream and onion Pringles found my hand. LOL! Today is a new day! Hopefully, I will be able to keep the positive attitude. I will be praying for everyone to stay focused and…
  • Welcome efoleo! Good Thursday to you too!
  • Two good days then one bad. GGGRRR!!! Still working on consistency. With it being the end of the fiscal year for my job there isn't much walking going on either, but I'm staying positive.
  • Any time SoleTrainer. I am sorry for your loss.
  • Day 1 of the I am starting over AGAIN tour. The last of my children graduated Friday so I didn't even attempt to begin again. Today is a new day though! I have done well so far. It is going to sound like a crazy breakfast choice but compared to what I have been doing lately believe me it is a good choice. I ate a bowl of…
  • Thanks SoleTrainer and macsndy. I appreciate the words of cofidence.
  • I have a question? My doctor tells me my hormone levels are fine, but I have MANY of the symptoms of being in perimenopause. Could my doctor be wrong. Yes I am really over weight (about 50 lbs over). Yes I have thyroid problems (levels are fine). I am only 41 but have had a hysterectomy. Any thoughts. I feel like I am…
  • Hey everyone! I have my thyroid is just bout non-existent and I have neck and back problems. I was doing great for about a year. I had lost almost 30 pounds when I had to stop completely due to my neck. I spent 4 months in physical therapy and then the holidays came. Needless to say, I gained all of it and then some back.…
  • Well....... It's a new week. I don't seem to be getting the exercise routine down to well. Between 40 hours a week job, school, and a family, which includes a grand-baby I keep on the week end it just doesn't seem to be coming together. I am getting the eating thing down though. I had a couple of blunders but much better…
  • Good morning ya'll!!!! Hoping today goes well for everyone. I didn't start out so well. Ate a sausage biscuit for breakfast :( My friend thought she was being nice and surprised me. Love her but...... anyways I will just do better the rest of the day. I am looking forward to working out this afternoon. I have already did a…
  • Success two days in a row! Yay me! My found intake wasn't the best but wasn't terrible, but the great part was that I did 3 miles in 43 minutes yesterday and felt amazing afterwards! I am feeling it today though. Lord, my legs and hips are sooooo sore. LOL! It's so worth it. That is a huge deal for me!
  • Already walked 2 miles today. I know it isn't much, but it is for me here lately. Hopefully, I will at least a 30 minute work out in gym today before class tonight. Starting the week out right!
  • This makes a lot of sense actually. I have really been trying to look at things in a different way. My husband tries to help but because of my passed relationships, when he tries to help I see him griping that I am not good enough. To answer you, yes I think this helps and I am going to start over AGAIN tomorrow. Today was…
  • Well, I can't say I have done well over the past few days but today is a new day and we are going to try again. I did walk 3 miles yesterday so at least there is that. I have found that food is my enemy and I am an addict. If I could that my eating under control I would be AWESOME! Any suggestions?????
  • Good morning everyone! I would love to join this group. What do I do? I'm 40 years old and have been trying to lose weight for a couple of years now. I grew up being the bean pole of the group. I was maybe 105 sopping wet when I became pregnant with my first child 20 years ago. Now, 20 years later, I am 187 pounds and…
