What annoys me at the gym is someone getting on a cardio machine right next to you when other machines are open. People not cleaning the machine after using it.

Lifting 4 days a week and cardio 3 days a week is fine, if that’s what you want to do. No rest days are fine.

You are on the right track. 3 days in the gym lifting and cardio is the best thing you can do. Always continue to push yourself in cardio and lifting to build more muscle. I would add more protein to your diet. You should consume 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. Hope this helps.

I do daily weigh ins. This reminds me each day how much weight I’ve lost and to keep my calories under control so I keep the weight off.

The amount of protein you should consume is based on your weight. For example, if you weigh 130 pounds, you should eat 130 grams of protein. Try whey protein to boost the protein. Protein fills you up so you’re not overeating.

I use Pro7ein Synthesis. It has 2 grams of carbs and 34 grams of protein.

Losing weight is all about calories in versus calories out. Try getting a fitness tracker. This will track your steps and tell you how many calories you’re burning. From the amount of calories you’re burning subtract 500 calories and you will lose weight.

I use the Alta HR. Step counting is accurate. Calories burned I believe is accurate. Sleep accuracy is no correct.

Working out every day is fine. Some say rest days, what’s the point of rest days? I workout 2 hours every day.

Try doing one cheat meal on the weekend or try to save some calories for the weekend so you don’t so feel guilty.

I made the same mistake by only doing cardio and no lifting weights for about 4 years because I was intimidated by the weights. Finally I have lifting in my every day routine. Go lift weights and try it. Don’t worry about what others think.

Water Challenge: M- 80 ounces T- 84 ounces WORKOUT 60 minutes of cardio. 8,815 steps as of now. Ten minutes on ab machines. I did not have enriched flour today. Victory! Keep my carbs under 100, which is my goal.

Water Challenge: M- 80 ounces WORKOUT 30 minute workout cardio or weights or 20,000 steps M-45 minutes of cardio, 9,200 steps as of now. I did have enriched flour today. After I ate a tortilla shell, I threw the rest away. That is a big accomplishment for me. Tomorrow I will strive for no enriched flour.
