Hey - were twins! I’m at 153 now with my goal being 133. I’m 5’6.5” and I started at 168. I eat around 1300 calories a day. I work out 6 days a week. On days I do cardio I sometimes eat some of my calories back if I’m starving but on my weightlifting days I don’t get any extra calories so I don’t eat any extra. I’m…

I also have to cut out sugar to lose weight. I also count my calories but it seems like the only way I have success is if I just say no to sugar. Plus, it’s a great motivator because when I get to goal I can start eating sugar again! I’m down 12 pounds so far!

Cut out completely the thing that causes you to overeat. For me it’s sugar, for my husband it’s late night snacking. Then, when your back down to the weight you want to be you can add it back in with the knowledge that if you get above a certain weight you’ll cut it out again. Good luck!

I’d like to join if I’m not too late. Weighed in at 161.4 this morning.

Unfortunately weight loss journeys are so personal, what worked for me last time won't work for me this time. Last time, I used buying new clothes as a reward to motivate myself but this time I don't seem to care, so I came up with rewarding myself with something ridiculous that I really want but don't need and would never…

I stopped focusing on all the confusing different diets and stick to eating 1200 calories a day and exercise 30 minutes a day every other day. It’s not fancy and it might not be the “best” way but it worked for me after baby #2 so instead of complicating the process and stressing myself out - I eat what I want and stick to…

Keep plugging the numbers in to the app. Be aware of how much it costs you to eat that way. Even if you still overeat at least you're aware of exactly what you're doing to yourself.

Try setting small goals to start. Like at first just count all your calories. Everything you put in your mouth goes in the app.

This is my bridesmaid dress! I got the sleeves altered and it's way better now.
-
Got my bridesmaid dress! They accidentally ordered me a size down which is fine because I lost weight since I measured but they added sleeves and they made the sleeves too small on all the smaller dresses. I can move my arms but the circumference of the hem of the sleeves is too tight and I feel like my arms are sausages…

Anyone feel free to add. It's really encouraging to have similar size friends.

I can comfortably wear my wedding ring!

My Dad is a serious biker and he buys and uses the underwear with padding in the butt.
-
Well that's amazing.

Thank you. That's my goal weight but my mom worries that it's too thin.

Like everyone said, no. Cookies do not just become fat. Eat healthy and under calories tomorrow and you'll feel better but you won't get any skinnier than today when you eat cookies and are under your calorie goals.

Yes. I almost did give up yesterday. I ate two bowls of ice cream and almost decided to call it quits on the diet altogether.

I eat exactly what I always ate, just less and I have been losing weight. I've lost 12 lbs in the last 8 weeks. I do notice over time I switch to healthier options because I want to eat more but if I don't feel like it I can get all my calories from ice cream one day. ( I don't recommend that though- makes you feel sick.…

It's possible it you stick to it. It's harder to lose a dress size at bigger sizes than smaller sizes but one dress size is completely doable in 4 months no matter what size you're at. I've lost a dress size in the last month since I ordered my dress. I guess I should have ordered down but I didn't want to take the chance…

Maybe pick a body fat percentage goal instead so you can share that with people. Most people don't know enough about that to contradict you.
-
Maybe you should try one of those apps that helps you get exercise throughout the day.

Add me. I log every day.

I started at a 12 and now I'm a 6. I lost almost 20 lbs but I'm still looking to lose 10-15. I'm 29. Started at 165 and today I'm 148. I'm 5'7". I took a year to lose the first ten but lost the next ten in the last month and a half. I eat 1200 calories a day and work out 30 minutes 3-4 times a week. But that's because I…

Add me. I've been working for a year but finally committed last month.

My future sister in law didn't even ask me. I just kind of heard it second hand from my mom. Then she texted us for dress sizes. I was fine with it.

My brother is getting married next month. So I'm trying to stick to my diet and exercise plan as strictly as possible to lose what I can. CW: 147 5'7"

I fit in to two pairs of pants I haven't got in to since before I got pregnant. I upped my weight for part of my workout video and I can still do the whole thing. When I first started I could only do half the video.

A pair of pants I haven't worn since before I got pregnant fit. I even had to go find a belt.
