Yes, I use a food scale. Have been for 4 years. Did you even read my post? I did lose weight eating only 1200 calories, 30 pounds in fact, but it f*cked up my metabolism completely. More to the point, I was losing hair eating at this level and my nails wouldn't grow. When I stopped working out but stayed eating at 1200…

Hmm, they give me 1,790 calories... That's a bit more than the 1500 they told me before.

The sugars in fruit are usually balanced out by the dietary fibers which help keep the sugars in your blood under control. Donuts don't have that.

Same. The only one I can still tolerate in the mint chocolate one because the mint masks the chemical taste.

I'm 5'9. Started at 190, currently at 163, goal is 150.

I swear by lentils... Around 15 grams of fiber in 1/4 cup of dried lentils! I usually just incorporate it in my dinners and use lentils in the place of rice.

A couple months ago I got sick back to back like four times in one month (had a cold, food poisoning, another cold, pink eye) and my mom and grandma thought it was because I "worked out too much".

Lentils! A 1/4 cup will have about 11g of protein... I've gotten into the habit of cooking it as a side and eating it like rice.

I love PB2... It's obviously not the same as regular peanut butter but I like to put it in my oatmeal and in my baking for an extra protein kick plus that peanut butter taste.

I get a bowl with chicken, brown rice, black beans, cheese, sour cream, and lettuce. I don't eat the whole bowl in one sitting though, I usually just eat half for lunch and save the rest for dinner.

I'm 5'9 and my goal weight is 150. I'm 172 right now and I started from 191. I seem to carry all my weight on my lower body because I can get away with wearing size small tops but I'm still in between 8 and 10 with my pant sizes.

Besides everything already said, I really like canned salmon and sliced swiss cheese. Not together of course.

Usually exercise lightens periods... If your period is lasting that long, it's probably something with your hormones. I'd check it out with a doctor if I were you.

I eat at Chipotle regularly because it's right next to my job. They have the nutritional information online so you can get an approximation on the amount of calories you're eating. I usually get a chicken burrito bowl with brown rice and black beans, mild sauce, some cheese, and lettuce. I only eat half of it in one…

Take your pick!

I hate the taste of almond milk when it's warmed up. I use a coconut milk creamer with my coffee, look out for one next time you go to the store. Much better than regular coconut milk in the carton or the can.

Skinnytaste.com has a bunch of low calorie and filling recipes. I love the breakfast recipes on there.

Stomach, butt, thighs. I'm a pear shape.

I didn't really lose anything when I tried it last summer; it's basically a 45 minute cardio vid. If you're done with the 30 Day Shred, maybe you should try Ripped in 30. It's like 30DS only you can take rest days.

^^Just check out that entire site in general. She has a lot of great healthy, sugarfree recipes.

I did it for about 2 weeks before I realized I wanted to do a more total body workout. You're not going to lose a lot of inches on this; it's only for strengthening the muscles on your lower body. Her other workouts are better if you really want to lose inches and you could always come back to KB&T when you want to tone up.

I make chocolate oatmeal every morning for breakfast. It's homemade so it's healthier than most instant oatmeals and it fulfills the chocolate craving! Recipe here.

5'9 over here! 1) How much do you weigh at the moment? Right now I weigh 181 pounds. 2) How much would you like to weigh? Trying to get down to around 150 pounds. 3) How many times a week do you workout? 5-6 times a week. 4) Calories you are eating a day to maintain/lose/bulk? Around 1100-1400 calories a day. 5) What your…

If you're not leery of exercise videos, maybe try Jillian Micheal's No More Trouble Zones a shot? It's on youtube.

I've never been a fan of store bought dressings. Usually I just add salt, black pepper, lemon, and olive oil. Sometimes I mix it up by just using apple cider vinegar and olive oil.

I did this last summer and lost 10 pounds. Now I just do level 1 and 3 back to back as a regular workout. Be careful with level 2 everybody, it's a killer on your knees.

I'd like to join too! I've been on MFP for a while, just found out about the community recently.
