Yes. Bottom line, food is fuel. Sure, I prefer when it tastes good. But most of my food choices are not for taste. For things that don't taste good at all, I'm always seeking alternatives (prep or replace).

I know a guy that really did consider being calling skinny an insult because he has trouble gaining weight/building muscle. I can only assume it was the equivalent of someone calling you fat. But, personally I also have trouble saying the simple thank you. It gets easier with practice.

I still eat at Mexican places. Tostada or taco, no rice. I just eat around the shells, get extra avo and sour cream. Find it very satisfying. Has carbs of course, but I can budget for it. If it does take me over, its not detrimental :)

Yes, weight training is the best use of time. I am also a 10 min drive away and I do shower. Highly recommend it! Takes an extra 3 mins. Don't wet ur hair, just rinse off. If you wear heels at work, wear flats to/from your car to shave a couple mins by walking faster. Good luck :)

Luvv pizza! I used to enjoy Freschetta frozen pizzas until i found out the ingredient "L-cysteine" is duck feathers or human hair. Wtf. No joke. Silver lining: Makes it easier to not buy!

Lately, Cottage cheese in place of dressing. And, I like to add seeds (sunflower, chia, hemp, pumpkin). Sometimes no dressing, if adding a juicy tomato or ripe avocado.

I enjoy chewing gum, and really don't want to give it up! it helps with stressed jaw clenching, so I have a few/day. I avoid AS in foods but haven't found a good replacement for gum. I think it's time :/
