I'm doing Slimming World too - just got back into it after gaining every last pound. current weight 10 stone 4lb, Christmas goal is 9 stone 6.

I was on 1200 but have upped by about 100 (just so that I don't get mad at myself when I go over by 50 cals or something daft). Stats are: 29 years, 5ft3ins, current weight is 10 stone 5, first goal is 9,5 which I hope to reach by Christmas :-)

what kinds of exercises would you do? Weighted squats, lunges etc? Also - would you use high weighs, high enough so that you are pushing after 10 reps? Or low weights and higher reps? Thank you x

Broccoli, fries (made from carrots....just cut without peeling and boil for 10 mins then add to baking tray with a spray of fry light and garlic salt) and a chicken in crispy batter :smile:

I'm in the UK too - Just started on MFP again "properly" after quitting slimming world. Last year I lost a stone on MFP, then put back on after my wedding and honeymoon and generally eating what I liked. So I started slimming world in April, lost half a stone which I put back on within two weeks of going completely off…

Ive never used strava but ill definately join if theres a group! If anyone uses endomondo, feel free to add me on there. Although I havent been able to run for a week due to bllisters :-( (ahhhhhh)! Hoping to try a small one tonight and see how they go.

Im 1200 a day too feel free to add me anyone. I pre-log all my food and at the time think "oh that will do me fine for the day" but then im terrible at late night snacking :-( Im trying my hardest now to stick to helthy foods and 1200 cals a day untill christmas eve :-)

I am part of a running group where we are nattering most of the way around so dont need music but when i do run by myself I like dance music something with a fast beat and some running apps (if you use a running app on your mobile) let you link a "power song" for when your thinking "OMG I cant do this, i need to stop!" :-)

Well my weigh in day is a Friday and Ive stayed the same AGAIN - about three weeks for me too. Im feeling down in the dumps, fed up, and feel like saying "forget it - ill have a takeaway tonight" .......... But i wont..... in the hope ill see a difference on the scales next week. I'm 5,2 and 141lb. I was using MFP at the beginning of the year and went down to 130lb which was very good for me! I got married and went on honeymoon and ate/ drank WAY too much hence the weight gain. But I do snack, lots! I want to get back down to 133lb which I would be happy with as I felt SO much better in my clothes…

well im glad im not the only one - I "fell off the wagon" in July and have put a stone on!!! I did go a little crazy on the chocolate and then went on an all inclusive holiday so i know where i went wrong - BUT im back on it as of today :smile:

I used to use Nike but then i found it would stop working on my longer runs. So i switched to Endomondo which seems to be good

10 mins cross trainer and 10 mins running (on treadmill) then 40minutes weight trainig :-)
