Haha... Yes. LOL

My rule is to log it before it goes into my mouth... sometimes that means a day ahead... sometimes an hour ahead... sometimes a minute ahead...... but never after. I would forget.

I suffered from extreme fatigue.... (i'm talking so tired that all i could think about all day long was going back to sleep)... make sure you have the doctor rule out anything major with blood work. I put off seeing him but glad I did.... I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's which was causing my very bad fatigue.

Are you using a digital scale to weigh your food? That is they key.
-
My "Aha" moment was when I went out of town at the beginning of June for a work trip... I got on the plane with my coworkers and was only about 3 inches from having to ask for a SEATBELT EXTENDER!! That was all it took. I'm DONE DONE DONE being fat!

I'm a total Microsoft Excel geek. So I track all of my weight loss metrics in a spreadsheet (yes, with graphs  ) and each day I weigh I have a "Notes" column to record how I'm feeling.

Thanks for sharing this. Great article. :)

This... I always opt to use grams instead of ounces as well (more accurate). And ml for liquids. I have a digital scale where I can toggle the units.... Definetely get a good digital kitchen scale.... worth its weight in gold :)

I have Hashimoto's and have been incredibly cautious to not use it as a "crutch". When I am taking my meds I can lose weight at 2 lbs per week. If I am off my meds it is slower, but still moves. But definetely notice if I don't carefully weigh measure and watch my calories, fatigue creeps in... this week has been…

Wow! you look like a different person!!!

Wow!!!! I am so impressed! I have similar goals. Started at 253. Goal is 150. I am 18 lbs in so far. I am focusing on the lifestyle change and not the end result... but it's hard to not think ahead when you see amazing results like yours!!! How tall are you? Do you have any loose skin issues...?

^^^ This! Milk.... ewwww...

IMHO... you need to lift MUCH heavier. My deadlifts and squats are at 100lbs right now doing the same amount of reps as you. I guarantee you are stronger than you are giving yourself credit for. Try picking up an Olympic Bar. You will see better resolts.

And.... last but not least... making sure all those dishes are washed!!! :open_mouth:

I think an honest conversation is in order. It can be hard to feel the pressures of who eats what. My SO has goals that are EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE of mine. He consistently works hard to gain weight, while I am trying to lose. Then we have 3 kids that need healthy meals. There are plenty of days that I eat something, he eats…

I love my Ezekiel 4:9 bread..... toasted.... mmmm

I agree here. It is incredibly tempting to try and take the "easy" way out... but what you are describing really isn't the "easy" way out. If you want your weight loss to be long term... you have to radically adjust your mentality about food! This will not work for you, and is not healthy...

He doesn't sell Detox Kits... he has recipes for whole food smoothies... BIG DIFFERENCE.

Amazing Job!! How many calories would you say you ate on average throughout your weight loss?
-
^^^ This... You'd be amazed at what you can eat when you aren't tracking what goes in your mouth... Your mind will always try to play tricks on you... and it will tell you it is "OK" to add a little something extra... and that you "DESERVE" a break from counting... but I will tell you from experience... every time you…

I was wondering the same thing. There is also so much conflicting information about how much to drink per day... I figure as long as my pee is "clear", that I am drinking enough. It does help get rid of a grumbly tummy for me in between meals and I can tell when I am dehydrated because I get MAD headaches if I don't drink…

My 9 year old daughter hugged me last night around the waist and said "I'm really proud of you, mom... you are doing great!" I asked her if she could really tell the difference and she informed me, yes, because I wasn't able to wrap my arms all the way around you before now. happy tears... I gotta keep going so I can…
