I agree with the above posters. A calorie is a calorie whether or not it comes from a healthier option. At the end of the day though, at least you are making healthier choices :) and I'm sure your body will thank you for that!

Hi there. I'm down 82lbs. I would still like to lose a bit more :) you are more than welcome to add me as a friend :)
-
I sure do. I think it's just human nature to have "off" days once in awhile. Those are good PJ and Netflix days :)
-
Thank you! :)

I usually do if I've had a few off days. If I've stuck to my calories I'm usually excited to see my progress :)

I am a bridesmaid and my friend (the bride) was told to order her dress a minimum of 9 months before the day. This way you can have 3 fittings and get any needed alterations. Congrats! :)

I'm about 50-60lbs lighter than I was at that age. I'm 26 now.

I'm a bit older, 26. I'm down 81.5lbs and am still trying to figure out my UGW. I know I'm close though ;)

I just wanted to say I think it's so sweet that you are wearing her dress. It will make your wedding even more special! I would love to wear my grandmother's dress but I am about 8 inches taller than her so it would probably come up to my knees :p

I hae cheat days once in awhile. My cheat days really aren't as bad as they had been in the past. I found sometimes it definitely could hinder my weight loss. But it also helped me stay on track the rest of the week. It's really personal preference I suppose.

Hi. You need to pick a spot on the floor or single tile and place the scale there. Step on and get reading, then step off. Let scale turn off fully then step on again. This should calibrate the scale. Take that second reading as it is most likely the most accurate.

Gaining back the weight and not being able to say when I'm done losing (that I'll keep lowering my goal weight) because I've been in this weight loss mindset for so long.
-
Honestly, for me it has a lot to do with portion sizes. I still eat pretty much what I want, just less of it :)

5'10 here and 153lbs. I have never been less than an 8 in my life. I was just "blessed" with wide hips and thighs. Even when I get to my goal of 145 I still probably be around an 8.

Hi there, Our stories are very similar. I'm also 5'10. In my teen years I maintained around 160-175. Then in university I was up to 200. Kind of bounced around there for awhile. There were a few times is lose 20,30 lbs and gain it back. My highest weight was 234 that's when I really started trying to lose weight. I'm 153…

Hi there, I know exactly how you're feeling. I wasn't really huge before because my height hid my weight. I did get really big a few years ago and am now down 81lbs. I am now officially the smallest I can ever remember being. I was probably only 10 or 11 years old the last time I was this weight. It is definitely a really…

Thank you!!! :)

I eat a lot of carbs and things that might not be super good for me. The main thing is watching portion size. If I want pasta, I'll just have one serving instead of 5 lol

I'm 26. Down 81lbs with about 5-10 to go to UGW.

Hi, It all really comes down to eating at a calorie deficit. If you stick to the calorie limit MFP gives you, you will lose weight. But that means that you need to track everything you ingest and be honest about your tracking.

Getting my mind to catch up with my loss. Still see an obese person in the mirror....
