Hi all, i just started calorie counting and MFP calculated 1200 calories for me too. Im 5ft 6, slightly active (i commute to and from work and always running around with 2 kids) i am within my BMI but want to shed around 1 stone. Is 1200 cals too little? Do u guys follow macros too which is all new to me - does everyone…

I think thats where im making a mistake, not eating enough protein in the day. With 2 kids its so difficult to fit in lunch and snacks, although i make sure i don't skip meals. I think I will revert to what i used to do when I lost weight in the past and keep meals pre packed for the nxt day so all i need to do is heat it…

Aww thanks guys! My goal was just 1lb a week but i lost 2. I go to the gym twice a week and have cut out carbs as thats where the weight piles on for me. I do love fruit but even the fruit kills the calorie allowance. I think im going to stock up on some weight watchers snacks to kills the cravings. Thanks all x

Ive tried to look for a banana so i can manually change the grams but cannot find it :neutral: the banana weighed was 112g

Wow, very interesting indeed thanks for sharing that. I lost nearly 2 stone on WW in the past but MFP app is alot more easier and I can do it myself rather than take time out n rush to a meeting for a weigh in. Plus,as im indian most of the food is within the database which is brilliant!
