Hey guys ive been on MFP for a week now and today ive had a bad day with eating n tracking. Why do i feel so hungry all of a sudden at certain times of the day? Get a real urge for sugar n snacks. Ive done so well in a week and managed to lose 2lbs, i dont want to ruin it.
What do u guys do when you have cravings and how do u avoid moments like that?

Stock up on fruit. Don't have any temptation in the house food wise. Easier said than done I know. If you train then try a protein bar. Don't worry everybody struggles sometimes. I have recently. Just have to keep goin. Hope it helps.

Make sure you're getting enough protein and fiber which will keep you feeling fuller longer. I cleared our house of any bad tempting foods and made healthy snacks (cut up veggies and fruit that are easy to grab in the fridge and made kale chips and zuchini chips for the pantry... have 60 calorie jello chocolate mousse temptations for sweets cravings). You can do this! And if you fall off one day forgive yourself and jump back on the next morning. Also if you can maybe keep protein shakes or something for the real hunger pangs (i like these ) it's a lower calorie, high protein boost that may bet you through it.

Don't give up! You can absolutely do this.

If you eat too little, sure you'll get hungry. Make sure that you calorie goal isn't too aggressive. 2 pounds a week is a lot with only 17 pounds to go. Set it to 1 pound, and, you can eat more food.

Aww thanks guys! My goal was just 1lb a week but i lost 2. I go to the gym twice a week and have cut out carbs as thats where the weight piles on for me.
I do love fruit but even the fruit kills the calorie allowance. I think im going to stock up on some weight watchers snacks to kills the cravings.
    Thanks all x

Ah, a low carber! Are you eating enough fat and protein? With low carb diets, basically you should try to follow these guidelines. MEET your protein goal, LIMIT your carbs and fill the rest with fats. I'm rarely hungry, and I think it's because I follow these guidelines.

More protein! I also like the Premier Protein shakes from Costco. The more protein I eat, the less I feel hungry and the less I binge. For a sweet tooth I go to vanilla Greek yogurt with a tbsp of peanut butter, a cup of tea, or sugar free jell-o (not vegan-friendly options, if that's a consideration). You're doing fine, keep up the good work!

I think thats where im making a mistake, not eating enough protein in the day. With 2 kids its so difficult to fit in lunch and snacks, although i make sure i don't skip meals.
I think I will revert to what i used to do when I lost weight in the past and keep meals pre packed for the nxt day so all i need to do is heat it up.
Thanks for the advice guys :)

If you have the time on the weekend, try baking a casserole dish and then portion it out for the week ahead. That's what I do.
