Hi guys, im a little confused. Ive been on MFP for a week now and was slightly confused about how to track a banana i just had. There are sooooo many choices for e.g. 'supermarket', 'generic (raw no skin), large banana, medium banana. How the hell do I know which to select to ensure the right calories have been taken off?
Thanks
Thanks

If the bananas you've got come in a packet with calories on, go by that. If not, I usually go by 'Banana - Large', just because it's the first one.
Whatever you go for just make sure to weigh it to get the calories accurate.0 -
Peel it, weigh it on a food scale. Look for an entry without an asterisk, enter how many grams.0

There's an issue where the "Bananas - raw" official entry can't be found in the database. If you want, you can copy it from my diary today0

I use the Bananas raw and peel and weigh my banana in grams if I am eating it at home. Otherwise I use one of the others. It can be a pain to scroll through to find the entry with no" *". It would be nice if MFP would put those at the top of the lists. I will also look for an entry that has several member confirmations and avoid the ones that have none.0

What do you mean you can't find it? When I search for 'banana' the first 5 results can all be changed to a serving size of 1g then you enter 112 servings of that.0
