Good news for people that prepare their meals in advance. Did they count the calories from the coconut oil?

Yes, but you can choose raw chicken breast in the MFP database , use a reliable entry like USDA entries. Or if you weigh it after cooking you use a cooked chicken breast entry . Hope that helps :) happy cooking

If I use chicken breast that is too thick/large, I just butterfly it out, cut it in half so it creates two thinner fillet shapes. Easier to cook so it's not rare in the middle. If it's over 4 oz, you cook chop the excess off and cube/slice the removed section for a stir fry or casserole. Or you could weigh and bag each…

There is some great research being done. I have read about a fasting-mimicking diet studied by Dr Valter Longo at University of Southern California. (Sorry I don't know how to link to it) Some interesting findings regarding cancer, diabetes and multiple sclerosis. To my understanding it would be a form of short term…

This is my long term plan too. No major hunger involved, and easier to sustain and maintain.

Great job Pav! 0.45lb loss per week really adds up over a year. Look to the long term losses. I really like the process of logging my food so I know how much I can squeeze in - lol. Every little bit lost is a step in the right direction. Slow and steady wins the race.

You can put the dressing container on the scale ,tare(zero) it , then take out your portion, then you are left with the amount you took out in negative numbers

Congratulations on the birth of your twins , it's a good idea to make sure you have established a good milk supply for your babies before you start dieting, I read somewhere that a breastfeeding mother should eat at least 1800 calories per day. Twins may need more milk making calories, so you could probably eat over 1800…

You can do it this time around. When i first started logging I was over calories, then I decided which food weren't worth the calories to eat( I have reduced snacking portion sizes). When you're back in maintenance there are some great threads in forum regarding ways to maintain. Good luck with your journey :)

Ground beef meals like spaghetti bolognaisse with grated veges in the sauce or Mexican…
