me too. Generally I lose about .5-1lb more than MFP predicts and I stick to the calories they give me.

He has a couple part time jobs but they don't make much. There is also another job in the works, so hopefully he will get it. he is in the final test to get it. I may be able to do some work as well from home.

Thanks, I have been trying to eat healthier and cutting back on calories, even eating more protein. My problem with weight loss in the past has been hunger and not feeling when I am full. Once I am sick of being hungry I give up on dieting and end up gaining most of the weight back and that usually only takes a few weeks…

So I would like to lose about 70 lbs more than 60 percent weight loss.

I just look at pictures on mybodygallery and figure out what weight looks the best to me and what fitness level. I have been overweight most of my life so this is the easiest way for me to determine where I want to be. I think 150 lbs with a good level of fitness is most attractive to me at 5'6''.

Yes, you can. I have lost over 10 lbs just dieting. I want to start exercising eventually, but right now it is kind of difficult because i am very obese.

I am not in maintenance but I find I will be fatigued if I am losing, period. If I am not tired generally I am only losing a very small amount a week, 1 lb or less, and given the amount I need to lose I want to lose more quickly and get the weight off in at most 2 years. I am so sick of being so obese.

I just use it plain with some water. I think it is pretty tasty. It is also good on top of bread, with celery, or on pancakes. Some use it with whipped cream and make a peanut butter dessert that is low in calories. I haven't tried that yet because I don't usually have whipped cream around the house. Oh, and sometimes I…

I don't think so unless you are overeating. Some are higher in sodium, so they may cause water retention if sodium levels are too high.

I know how you feel. I always wanted to be a "perfect" size 10. The last time I was that size was in 7th grade, and I think then it was only for a very short time!

I never put my food on a plate really, another issue, and don't sit at the table and eat a meal. I notice when I do this it really shows me what I am actually eating. I have been horrible at making that a habit though. I just kind of pick out things and eat it and then write it down.

Yes, I have seen that. I have never been a big weigher of my food when I eat even though I do have a food scale that measures in grams. I just look up the food or measure it. So how do you put a meal together?

I want to add that if I don't learn to eat less at a time I don't believe I will ever be able to maintain my weight loss and if I can't see what normal portions are and know when to stop I am also going to have problems.

I totally agree. As soon as I can I want to go to this eating disorder clinic near my house. I know I need therapy for my eating, but I am doing what I can and trying to lose weight in the meantime.

I also like salads with a meat and low calorie yogurt dressing. Those are very filling and low calorie.

Another food that is very satisfying for me is 1 cup of organic oatmeal.

I like a couple egg whites or whole eggs, some beans, and a sweet potato. All that is very low calorie and fills me up for a long time. It is very satisfying.
