That sounds great. Setting goals for myself is what keeps me motivated and that feeling you get when you reach those goals is is even more motivating.

I try to avoid any processed foods. When I first started losing weight I realized that five Pringles were just as many calories as a whole potato. That whole potato is going to keep me full a lot longer than 5 Pringles

Do you still have a lot of weight to lose I know for me when I first started losing weight I was excited but I didn't feel skinny yet . Now that I'm closer to my goal a few pounds here and there actually make a much bigger difference.

I live in Phoenix Arizona and I tend to gain weight in the summer because it's so hot outside and I don't like to go out in 115° weather.

I'm not exactly sure how many calories are burned from weight lifting but I generally add back 250 to 300 calories on a heavy/high volume lift day and I'm still losing weight. I log them under cardio and it says strength training.

Okay so I went back and weighed the remainder of the chili added back in what I ate ,transferred it from ounces to grams gave me 1800 grams total ,I divided at out by what I ate and bam 496 calories. I never used to add beans when I made chili because I couldn't figure out how many of them I was eating but this is so much…

I've also ate some of the chili already but next time I will try to weigh it out first. Thanks

I eat a protein bar or maybe a banana sometimes half a bagel an hour before my workout and I'm not so starving after I'm done working out.

Aworkoutroutine.com has a lot of great information and no BS. a simple full body workout 3 times a week would be a great place to start.

Great job on the weight loss if you're new to weight lifting I would start off with a full body workout maybe 3 times a week , with a non weight lifting rest day in between. if you want to do cardio in between on your non weight lifting days that would be ok
