Well done! :) I don't have PCOS, but I have friends who do. I've read that weight loss can lead to a significant improvement in PCOS. Have you noticed any improvement?

I buy a couple of kilos of potatoes, and I bake them and freeze them, as a make-ahead meal. I defrost one in the microwave and serve them with whatever I have handy at the time, such baked beans, tuna and sweetcorn, kidney beans and Mexican spices,...

There are a few foods logged with 0 servings and 0 calories. For example, on Tuesday 27: PON Mexican Rice, H.w. Nevill's Wholemeal Bread and Asda - Light Instant Hot Chocolate. Just Add Hot Water. Correct, 0 Heaped tsp 11gm in 200mls hot water. A portion of PON Mexican rice is about 223 cals, one slice of Nevill's is about…

I Google searched Graham's and they seems closer to our rich tea or digestives. Looking at your diary I don't recognised most of the food you eat. You have so much choices there.

The NHS (the National Health Service for the UK) has an app called: Easy Meals. It's completely free.

Do you have a Boots pharmacy near you? Most of them have a body composition scale. It gives you a slip of paper with your weight, height and BMI displayed. It used to be 70p just.

At least in my circle, I don’t think many realise they are overweight. They see themselves as healthy and normal weight. It's like some sort of normalisation of a body size in the obese range.
-
Well done you :) Btw, there's a documentary on Youtube called Battling Obesity at the Age of 5. It's about a wee little girl that seems to be constantly hungry. All the blood tests, etc. keep coming back normal, but one Doctor decided to do further tests with help of a specialist lab, and turns out that she has some…

@meeppeepneep That's a good one too :-) It amazes me how many in that show genuinely don't realise how much they eat and drink. I just started watching “Generation XXL” on Youtube. It breaks my heart to see how it not only affects those kids physical health, but their social life, their emotional well-being and self-esteem…

I was wondering the same. I'm in the UK and got the AstraZeneca. In both, the leaflet I was given, as well as in the official National Health Service website, it says "You can take painkillers, such as paracetamol, if you need to." https://nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/coronavirus-vaccine/

I watch Supersize vs Superskinny on Youtube. It addresses poor eating habits, eating disorders and make lifestyle changes.
-
I didn't modify my routine. I got the AstraZeneca. No change in weight or reaction of any kind.
-
Well done, you have done very well :) Believe you can and you will get there.

I'm not in the US, but in the UK. We call them Peruvian Potato or Oca, although there aren't very popular here.

At least here, it's getting really bad among the little ones in recent years. A combination of energy drinks and playing video-games instead of being playing outside it's to blame. But there's also more and more kids under eating. Also, there are more and more types of unhealthy ready meals at the supermarkets. By the way,…

I spent three months in the US back in 2006 and portion sizes were far bigger than here. I stayed with my American family and basically everything was done by car, the pharmacy, the bank, etc., since distances were so big, while here I walk everywhere, because we have small shops, banks and supermarkets in each…

I think 90$ are about £70? I guess like everywhere else in the world, prices in supermarkets vary greatly. Also, there's a huge difference if you buy pre-cut fruit and veggies. For example, at Tesco, 200grams of pre-cut carrots costs £1, while 1kg of carrots costs 59p. I just went shopping to Tesco and Aldi. I spent £2 on…

You look great! Losing weight isn't easy, you should be super proud of yourself!

@rahiin I'm 5'4" and my goal is 145-150 lbs. Feel free to add me

Is it O'Brians in Ireland? If so, at least my local one doesn't have the nutritional info on their menu, but their meals are already on MFP system.

I weight myself every Monday. I too have read that once it comes, the weights goes back down, but as an experiment, I weighted myself daily during TOM and same here, it took me five days to return to my 'usual' weight.

- Fage 0% fat free Greek strained yogurt (3g sugars, 10.3g protein, 54 kcal per 100g.) + some berries - Wholewheat flower rotis or chapattis with pure fruit spread instead of jam or grilled cherry tomatoes. - Methi paratha, is easy to make and you can always adapt some of the ingredients...…

Same here, I got mine in the only room that has tiled floor. I wonder if the OP has used in both, carpet or wooden floor vs tiled, and that's why there's a big difference.
-
Are both floors tiled?

I have lost 14 kg. since January. I started logging and was loosing about 0.5kg a week. Then I stopped logging for a while because I took ill, was in and out of the hospital, and had surgery. I've been logging now for the past four weeks and so far so good. I have a Fitbit and I try do a minimum of 7K steps everyday, plus…

Someone shared this article the other day. I think it's pretty good: The Weird and Highly Annoying World of Scale Weight and Fluctuations I wouldn't weight myself everyday, because of what is mentioned in that article regarding water fluctuations, etc. I weight myself every Monday morning. I have an ordinary electronic…

That's a fantastic achievement. Well done you! :)

Amazing! Well done! :)

Just reading on your profile 'Previously having an amazing trainer and nutritionist gives me the knowledge and tools to get me where I need to be with' I'm thinking in the Dr. you mention is indeed someone who is calling him/herself a nutritionist but it isn't, since this profession it isn't regulated in some countries and…

To be honest, I find shocking that a qualified medical professional thinks it's OK to eat 1000 calories and work out. You're not talking about under eating for a couple of days, but so far for two months. I'd be worried, not just for the short and long terms physical effects, but because under eating could become your new…
