I ran Wineglass a few years ago. Was perhaps the coldest race they've ever had. So cold the water cups froze and the GU gel blocks turned solid. I almost broke a tooth!

I just eat mine on it's own and don't add pasta with it. It's filling on it's own.

I use Aldi's Protein Power called Elevation. It comes in chocolate and vanilla and is only $13.99 as compared to the higher prices most places charge ($22 and up). I only use a half scoop though and also add in a scoop of organic greens for more vitamins and also use sugar free almond milk and frozen fruits.

I've got Broad Street 10 miler in May. Up to 5 miles long distance. To think, 2 years ago a 5 miler would be a typical weekday run. Sucks to have to start back at square one. Thanks car accident!

Yep. Always eat at least up to my allowed 1710 every day. I learned that the hard way the first time around.

Not sure what you mean by "this." It's only got 3 grams of sugar and I used the same exact powder 5 years ago when I lost 115 lbs. I don't eat processed foods except for a whey protein shake which I used when I lost my first 115 lbs. Everything I eat is whole fruits, veggies and lean meats.

Here's the funny thing -- after a long run, I am not hungry. Not at all. I actually feel sick to my stomach. It's actually the next day that I'm ravenous. So I get that researchers input. OMG @mom23mangos --- if I cut any more, I'm going to go insane. Working out so much and burning roughly 600-800 calories a session, I'm ravenous and starving. I start getting massive migraines and am miserable. I found if I cut TOO much, I go into starvation mode and don't lose. If I eat MORE, I then tend to lose.

Disney offers a ton of healthy options, especially in Epcot. You only live once though and you've saved up for this trip so go, enjoy it---life is short. Eat the Mickey Waffles!

Not sure who told you that, but the elliptical is definitely a good workout. It also places less stress on your knees. Also, stationary bike is a good alternative.
