I like McDonalds, hate burger king and the thought of Wendy's makes me nauseous. After a while I get sick of Mickey D's and the thought of that makes me sick. Then after a break I go back. Cheeseburger and small fries or if I am in mood, Big Mac and fries.

Pop your own popcorn and season with a few squirts of olive oil or I cant believe its not butter, boiled eggs, roasted beets in apple cider vinegar.

I never bought frozen meals and still don't. Having said that, I found myself at 500+ lbs in 2015. I decided to change my life. I asked a similar question some time ago, it was just phrased differently and I was all but attacked. Although I don't react, sometimes when I look in my diary to add my foods I see foods that I have eaten and I think, now that sounds good. At least I know I am not alone in thinking this way.

You must have a big house or walk around all day. The most I get without intentional exercise is about 3-4K.

I have been using coconut oil, which is a pain in the winter because I have to melt the oil first. Thanks for the tip of using an oil that does not solidify like coconut. I have never heard of not rinsing your teeth after brushing either

I love that post. I have tried to convince myself that I have a food addiction sometimes, but I know it is not true. I lost 200lbs five years ago. Just in past year I have gained about 50 lbs. I know there is no excuse and it is all under my control. The struggle is real though. I really appreciate your post.

The question was bad food habits. I will answer it. Keeping foods in the house that I know I tend to overeat is a bad food habit for me. I keep snacks in the house, but certain things I will grab just because I see it. Eating because I am bored is another bad food habit that I try to avoid.

I started losing weight at 45 and lost 150+ lbs. So yes it can be done.

I have lost over 150 lbs and I would say I am an expert. If you lose weight by changing how you eat, what you eat and exercising I do not see how you do it without becoming an expert. It does not mean you are perfect, but you become pretty knowledgeable about what it takes to lose weight.

I will eat them raw but not cooked. When I was growing up my mom boiled the life out of brussel sprouts and I still cant make myself eat them cooked.

Except grits are white and polenta is yellow. Anywho I was just talking about grits with a co-worker yesterday. She said she uses instant grits. I have never made instant grits. It is just not the same to me if I don't cook it on the stove. I do enjoy them though.

I think this kinda happened to me, but I was so big that of course my face got smaller. You can see my collar bone and I can feel my ribs now but the bottom part is a different story.

Related to number 4. I had a coworker who really did not know me indirectly ask me why I was the size I was and she sees me eating so healthy. I showed a picture of when I was 200 lbs heavier. She was taken aback

I have never had friends or family pushing food on me. Ironically my family will sometimes randomly ask what foods can I eat or not eat, which I find funny because they know I just eat regular food.

The only thing that struck me in this message is that you move your scale to clean the floor. My scale is in my living room and has been there for years. Other than the kitchen it is the only place in my house that has tile and it does not get in the way of daily activity.

I buy the plain greek and I add fruit and sweetener and usually protein powder to get more protein in.
