Foods that you enjoyed but stopped eating
I have seen threads similar to this but I thought about it this weekend. I was at my sister's house and she had a box of Apple Jacks on her fridge. I said I have not had Apple Jacks in years. I used to love all the "bad" cereal, but Apple Jacks, Frosted Flakes and Fruit Loops were my favorite. Once I decided to lose weight…

Does your diary make you crave foods?
This happens to me from time to time. I am logging or pre-logging my food for the day and I see another food in my frequent list and it makes me want to go eat that food. Some days I will just type in the food so that I do not have to look in my foods and see some foods that I had eaten on another day. Does this happen to…

Do I need to reduce my calories
I am just throwing this out there to see what the comments are. I have been on an 1800 plan for the past 2 years. I have been losing on that up until about the last month. I went on vacation for Spring Break and pigged out. When I came back, I got strict on eating and logging and I may have lost a lb or 2, but for about…

How did you know when you did not want to lose any more weight?
I am not there, but I feel I am getting close to the point where I want to maintain, rather than lose anymore weight. It has been so many years since I have been anywhere close to my current weight. I am just curious how others feel.

How many minutes of exercise count?
I am curious. I use a Fitbit charge. Tonight I hadn't hit my step goal so I popped in an exercise video and followed it until I hit my goal, which was about 7 minutes. When I compared my active minutes from before I started, it didn't go up. When I read up on this on fit bits site it say it only counts active minutes that…

Success in progress- 120 down
I don't post as much as I did when I first started losing weight. I have lost 120 lbs and I want to lose about 80 more. This journey for me has been so much more than eating less and moving. I am learning how strong I am. For a year straight, I did not waiver from my plan. I was not even tempted by things that was not on…

Open to suggestions on stalling
I thought I would throw this out there. I have constantly losing since January. For the past 2-3 weeks, I have not lost an ounce. I have not gained, but I have not lost. I have over 100 more pounds to lose. I am on 1800 calorie plan. I do walk at home videos 6 days per week, normally about an hour each day. I weigh…

fitbit vs. Walk at home videos
I am curious about any others who use fitbit and do walk at home videos. No matter which video I use or who is doing the video when I walk a mile (per the video) my fitbit always says about .80 of a mile. It does not really bother me, but I am wondering if this rings true for others or if I am just not walking the pace of…

Do you feel like you have not lost weight when you have lost a lot?
I am just wondering if anyone can relate to my situation. I have lost about 70 lbs since last April. I used to feel much lighter, but I am guessing that now I have adjusted to carrying this amount of weight. Now I feel like I am the same size I was. Granted, I still have a lot to lose, but I am just curious if anyone else…

Are you surprised when you look at your pictures?
I am not sure if this pertains only to people that have lost a lot, but whenever I look at my pictures, both before and after, I am shocked. When I look at my before pictures I can't believe that I was that big and thought it was okay. When I look at myself in current pictures, I am shocked at how different I look and how…

Low impact hip hop workout.
I have quite a bit of weight to lose and right now I am doing the walk at home videos. I tried to look for workouts that have hip hop music but they all involved jumping around and very high impact. Does anyone know of any that are low impact? I think it would be fun and help the workout go faster in my mind.

Ravioli
I tried the Frozen ravioli for the first time today. It is quite tasty, but I could only eat half of the entree because I was full

Why are calories being taken away
I have a question. Just out of curiosity. From what I understand, the amount of calories that I am allotted is meant for me to lose weight even if I do not move an inch. I noticed one day, early in the day that I started out with a deficit of about 170 calories. Why does MFP take calories away if I am lazy and don't do…

What is a safe amount to lose per week if you need to lose 100+ lbs?
I am just curious and I love to read all the comment that are on here. Realistically I want to lose about 150 lbs. I have lost 50 + since March. Right now, I am averaging about 3 lbs per week. I eat 1800-1900 calories per day. Usually closer to 1800 and I walk 2 miles a day at least five times per week. Recently I feel…
