63 + 15 plus this streak...ya'll are doing way better than myself. I'm not slacking on diet or exercise though! I leg pressed 335lbs this week! Maxed out a machine!!!

My schedule changes every day...sometimes I log in at the beginning of an overnight shift, then work the rest of the night, sleep most of the day, and don't realize until it's too late into my next overnight...blech. No excuses. This last lapse was because I was home seeing my momma for the first time in months. I didn't…

45 + 15 (broke again!!). 60 total so far....
-
Eew! That sounds pretty awful. I have to work Christmas day and the schedule for December still isn't out...I'm annoyed because my husband and I try to distribute holiday time equally among our families in two states...hard to figure out Thanksgiving with no notice.
-
BeachBody won't steer you wrong...Tony Horton helped me get into incredible shape instead of gaining the freshman fifteen in college! Good luck and rock on!
-
Awesome!

Had 45 days (48 minus the three I had before we started) and forgot to log in on a day I had off with my Hubby. Oh well. Onward and upward!
-
and today it's those nasty orange and black taffy gross things...you know. like trash bags of goo. easily avoidable.
-
yes!!! That's brilliant!!

Wow that's an early morning! Rock it out lol. I'm pretty good about not buying the clearance candy. It'll be people putting it in the break room at work that will be tough for me. I know if I had extra candy laying around that's what I'd do, though, so I can't blame them.
-
...this is shocking me. I had the whole giant sack of candy hanging in my room until it was gone...mom regulated when/how much I could have, but man...it was there for at least a month. Asked my husband: same for him. Go on! More posts, please! This is intriguing! Also, for the giving--what do you give? How much do you…

@2020pinktogo that is incredible. Just. Incredible. That probably wouldn't have occurred to me to do, so I'm going to keep it in mind if such a situation comes up. Pass it off! Get it away!! Way to go, friend.

I am SO in...the ice cream cake should be gone within 24 hours...no more will enter the house, to be sure. Are we putting a timeframe on this?
-
My husband made me an ice cream cake for my birthday...that only the two of us are around to eat...notice I haven't logged food in a while???? Done with sweets in the house after this, too! ;)

I have a patient with a box in her room full of candy. The side of the box reads: "Please take one! Your work is tough. The thanks are few." She encouraged me to take some on one of my trips in, and I told her I was fine but thanks. I felt guilty, though. I came back and said "I want you to know that the note on your box…

No one day in particular. Evenings after work are difficult for me...and when there are baked goods or ice cream in the house, I can't stay out of them. It's bad. I try to keep them out of the house and that works pretty well. I haven't figured out a trick for work treats yet. I know it will only get worse. Sometimes I'm…

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Your hard work is paying off!!!!!

Medjool dates are great for that--around 60 calories per date, and so delicious! I like to blend them with milk, cinnamon, a handful of oats, a few ice cubes, and a little bit of peanut butter-it's Angela Liddon's "Gym Rat Smoothie" recipe. I drink it as a reward after a major calorie burner.

Day ten...new record for me! This feels weird....

Treats like ice cream and cookies were a reward for almost everything, an experience to share with a loved one, and a thing to be cherished. Cookies and milk held a special place in our hearts...and it's been that way since my mom was little. When her brother, my uncle, was hospitalized for the better part of the year at…

Awesome!! Welcome, Cherona!!

Tori, You've got me beat. Four days is four days! How awesome that you and your husband are teaming up on this. I love that you've set up reasonable rules and great rewards for yourselves! Positive motivators....awesome. No one here is "the fat one." No one. You're gorgeous, just like Ms. Pinktogo, and I'm sure your hubby…

2020pinnktogo, I'm so glad you're taking steps to feel healthier and more confident!!! I'll encourage you, though, to also throw a reason for losing weight that is purely for YOU into the mix. If you're only foregoing your favorite foods to do battle with "the thin one" or for your daughter to have the thinner mom at her…

How tall are you ladies? That makes a big difference...150lbs at 5'9" is perfectly healthy. Shoot, 150lbs at 5'6" is within a healthy range...Unless you're both 4' tall, there can't be too much weight to lose!

I think I'm going to set an alarm on my phone. It may be the only way I manage to do it... I think I'll set it for 10a and 11p...for me, at least one of those two times will be a lull in my day.
-
Nice! Very interesting--way to go, and let's keep motivating each other!
-
Ketogenic? I've not heard of that. Please shed some light on it!
-
I've also tried storing it in the freezer. You have to let it thaw in your mouth before chewing or it breaks your teeth. Mean, but it works! Dark chocolate is good this way too--the snap is nice, like a crunchy snack.

I mix it into healthier things...plain popcorn, healthy nuts (not too many!)...any healthy trail mix items do the trick for me. Fruit sometimes works too...in any case, I get my fix without having too much! I go on a bender if I resist too long. No joke.
