  • Wait, do you mean after a few hours of training or after a few hours after training? Cause under an hour training is best... And the other comments pretty much cover everything else
  • Listen to this chick, good advice!! I wouldn't do 5 cardios in a week though, at first any ways
  • Honestly you should probably see a personal trainer... Probably just over cautious but i'm just imagining 3 heavy days on your rotator cuff for example.
  • What are your macros.... To lose weight use a 40% carb 40% protein and 20% fat ratio (change your goals on myfitnesspal and select the manual set up). 2500 actually sounds about right for a guy your size to lose weight. See what your body does, try 2500 on those macros and drop it by 100 calories every week until you see…
  • Sorry to be the one to tell you guys this but unfortunately women have an extra layer of fat cells around the waist which makes it a little harder 4 u guys
  • My cats are slightly mad!! The little girl wakes up with nightmares crying and wont go back to sleep without your hand on her and my boy likes to sit with his paws around me giving hugs, very cute!!
  • Best bet would be drop the peanut butter, ice cream and cookies and if that doesnt work try swop 5-10 percent of your carbs for protein and see how you feel
  • Ha ha dont be, im claiming that now!!
  • Assuming the best possible gain is 7 pounds, still seems worth trying. Its not really that unbelievable to attain, hell I've packed on just over 4 pounds of lean muscle in a month after a year long break just by using MFP (approx 0.6kg of fat came with that as well, so pretty lean mass ha ha). The theory behind it does…
  • The gains made in the 2 weeks seem to be high enough to make up for the loss of weight during the low cal deficit. The programe I was looking at was by vince del monte, his book burn the fat feed the muscle, is still the best I have ever ready so he knows his stuff... I hope anyways... The results are said to be 12 pounds…
  • Boobs are over-rated, I would take a fit body over boobs any day!!
  • Ha ha ha ha ha ha I have just noticed the beginning of my name is abs!! It was actually just a username in uni, adam brittan's reference 71, looks like my sub conscious wants abs too!! So blonde
  • Unfortunately SA is still kind of slow with healthy foods but nandos is definitely the best bet for fast food, expensive tho. And yeah in PE you would like valley harvest, good food, pretty healthy too
  • Another 1 from PE!! Having the local brands makes such a huge difference!!
  • Psychologically the brain does not think in terms of negatives like I don't want to. You will get much better results by using affirmations such as "I love eating healthy". And if you keep saying the word sweets then all your brain is thinking about is sweets, hope that helps, sweet
  • Dude your best off starting on low weights for the first time and working up from there. Like you said, it will expose any weak spots neglected by not doing free weights that may not be able to handle a percentage of ur 1 rep max. Always go slow with something new or spend the time recovering from injury
  • Jason Stathon and Hugh Jackmon, so good to see some hairy chested guys showing up here!!
  • Thanks guys, funny enough I'm actually aiming for the Mark Wahlberg and Ryan Reynalds body but apparently I'm definitely going to have to google this Channing Tatum ha ha
  • Thanks for the input, ps I think your caps lock is broken :-)
  • Ha ha man I wish I had that problem!! But yeah you can't go wrong with a handfull of nuts
  • Happens to every1, just gotta use that as an incentive to hit the gym harder the next day
  • If u lost that much you'd need to see a doctor, uv gotta keep realistic goals or ul set urself up for failure. 2 pounds a week is doable but it isn't easy, prepare to be consistant and patient and you will get ur results
  • Google basal metabolic rate and use one of the calculators that pops up to get your real numbers. Swop your banana in the morning for oats firstly, a banana is not enough and sandwiches on wholewheat bread with ham are filling and easy to eat whenever you have a little time
  • Dropping from 2500 to 1200 calories is incredibly unhealthy. It is way too big and will affect your body badly, you need to start at a higher calorie limit and slowly reduce them. Try g down 200 calories a week until you start seeing results and then stuck there 4 a bit
  • Hmmm, tuna, awesome idea. That's tomorrow sorted!!
  • *drop your fat to 30 grams
  • Yes your fats are too high, they are sitting at 30% of your calories whereas you ideally should have 20% from fats. Drop your fat to 30 and your results will improve without needing to force feed yourself. Instead increase your protein to make your calorie limit as it is sitting at 20% at the moment
  • There are loads of amazingly supportive people on this site, you just got unlucky with the people you msged, most ppl will reply if they are active on here and are happy to help. If u need any advice on something I know about I'd be happy to help

  • "Hirsch may well be on to something. His work focuses on the hypothalamus, a region of the brain known to be associated with satiety, and if Sensa can indeed hit that neural bull's-eye, it could be powerful stuff — and will probably give rise to a lot of similar products. But there's reason to be skeptical. For starters,…

  • Check out high intensity interval training, it will increase your overall metabolic rate during the week and you don't have to be fit, just do as much as you can and work on it
