  • Exactly what she said. $50 budget a week for groceries for 4 people is hard, but possible. Trying to cater to everyone's taste is hard. Trust me I know, my husband hates vegetables or fish, my mom doesn't eat gluten and other foods, and my daughter doesn't like certain foods. Its hard, but I took charge, bought different…
  • You can manually or from a website enter a recipe. You can weigh or measure each item going into the dish, towards the end of inputting the recipe right before you save it, you can enter or change how many servings are in that dish. I use this feature all the time and it's wonderful!
  • If you are happy with where you are and going at the pace you are, stick to it. I'm pretty much where you are. I'm 5'0, starting weight was 156, current weight is 130, goal weight is 125. 125 is probably a little on the "heavy" side for my height, but I am feeling good. My clothes are fitting more comfortably, people are…
  • I don't have designated "cheat" days. I try and stay within my calories every day. If I want a treat one day, I make sure I adjust what I plan to eat that day. Example if I want a Reese cup, I probably won't have a sandwich for lunch instead have a nice salad. If I want Starbucks instead of my regular coffee, I might not…
  • I'm 5', had 26lbs to lose (current loss of 17lbs) when I have mine set to sedentary and it gives me 1200. I log my exercise but rarely eat any back. If you make healthy food choices, veggies fruit and good protein and control the amount of processed foods, 1200 really isn't too bad. I'll admit, the first 2 weeks was hard…
  • I only use my phone and it's super easy and not time consuming. Entering recipes are simple.Copy from internet, go to add recipe, enter title, how many servings, paste ingredients and save. It saves it in your recipe section, no need to reenter the same thing over and over.
  • If she still feels like 2200 is still not enough, she can add 200 more and make 2400. 1200 is still under, so she could eat all of her burned calories and lose realisticly. I looked about her logs, I don't see any food and she's logging cleaning as working out. So I'm confused.
  • Right ... she wouldn't be eating just 1200 cal. [/quote] Again that's why I said eat back a portion of her burned calories. But 1200 for her size, pretty dang close to my stats and what I eat, is fine. If she takes a 3 hour class, burns 500 per hour, for a total of 1500 calories burned. Add 1000 of those burned calories to…
  • That is why I said eat back a portion of what you burn from working out. If she's burning 500 calories per hour of dance for example, she could very well eat back 300-400 of that and still be in under her calories. That gives her room for a decent sandwich after a one hour dance class.
  • It is possible to lose without a scale! I have lost almost 16lbs in 70 days, 5 feet 135lbs down from 156. You have to be very very honest about the portion sizes. Put your settings to sedentary and to lose 1lb per week. Only enter you workouts, dancing, jogging, swiming, walking etc and be very honest about how long worked…
  • See this is me. I like to switch things up, and plain coffee is just not for me. I've tried coconut milk creamer and it was ok. I've tried just half and half with extracts, it's just not the same as coffee mate. I'm currently trying so delicious coconut, it's ok. I think I'm going to try half and half with flavored syrup…
  • Marinate chicken breast strips in it for a hours, cook on the stove, put in a pita add some tomatoes, lettuce, onions and some veggies if you want and you have a chicken gyros
  • I'm 5' sw 156, down 15lbs, goal 125. Add me
  • I do the same thing. First thing in the morning in a bra and underwear. Some times every day, some times every few days, some times once a week, pretty much whenever I feel like I lost. I don't log unless I lose, my body fluctuates a few pounds every day.
  • Yoga helped mine! I used to be able to stick half of my fingers into mine now I can only stick the tips of my fingers in. It won't ever go away but yoga has helped tons!
  • I have the same issue. I have read some mats need a "bath" before first use to help with the nonslip but I haven't tried it.
  • Oh and just be aware that some women do hold onto a few extra pounds while nursing.
  • Mother who nursed for 2 years and a la leche league leader here. You body burn about 500-1000 calories alone just making milk. Breastfeeding mother's should keep the same amount of calories as they did while pregnant, add 300 more calories than your regular calorie intake. Make sure you are eating a healthy variety of…
  • Overnight oats! The base: 1/3cup rolled oats 1/3cup alomd milk or milk of your choice 1/4cup greek yogurt 1Tsp chia seeds The add-ins (pretty much anything your heart desires): My favorite is peach cobbler 1 ripe peach 1Tsp mapple syrup 1/2tsp cinnamon http://thedomesticgeek.com/archives/441
  • I am a la leche league leader, Here is a great link.http://www.llli.org/nb/nbmarapr04p44.html
  • Hi there! I breastfed my daughter for 2 years. I wasn't logging or tracking my intake at all at the time. The problem you can run into is not eating enough and having your supply drop. You should be eating the same amount of calories as you did while pregnant, add 300 calories to a normal calorie intake. Your body burns…
