  • Again great tips/comments and videos!! Thanks Folks! I really appreciate it. :-)
  • There are many sports/activities in which the athletes/participants (if you choose not to call yourself an athlete), benefit from a certain degree of flexibility - namely kickboxing, pole fitness, aerial yoga, weight lifting, dance (different types) to name a few...Shoot, a wide receiver would as well based on some of the…
  • I average over 21K steps per day... up from 15k since January. My resting heart rate (per my Fitbit) is now a 49, down from 55 in January. I'm taking an intermediate/advanced swim class as I hope to one day train for a MINI triathlon. I've steadily increased my (jogging) mileage to a little over 20 miles a week - up from…
  • Wow, so impressive! Great job! How long after finishing the program did you run your race!
  • To drop down to a muscular 135lbs. I'm at 140lbs now and my workouts are going pretty well... I'm waiting on a "whoosh" of water retention by next week.... would like to evaluate where I am then!
  • I go through periods of that too...sometimes I lament my past view of mindless eating (lol).....it IS sometimes like MAN when I HAVE to think of everything in my food and modify/ration.. because I have short term goals that I'd like to reach now rather than later, it's necessary though....but like others have said, you…
  • I was overweight after the children and just wanted to be back in a "normal weight range"....Like others, I know that BMI is not the end all, however it has provided me with a target that medical professionals reference for our records, so I went with that - The upper end of normal....So I got there and reevaluated..now I…
  • Great job!! The dress doesn't do you enough justice!! THIS is the pic- phenomenal!
  • OMG, you killed it! Great job.. very significant difference in a month! :-)
  • Beautiful!
  • No option to reschedule till after TOM? :-) @MrsPinterest34
  • Great progress, physically and otherwise! :-)
  • Ran my first Peachtree Road Race (1:04:14) with lots left in the tank at the end. I will certainly be better prepared next year and not hold back so much till the end. Started running last October so pretty proud of my accomplishment. :-)
  • We have similiar stats and background. I'm 5'8 as well, 140 lbs (when I'm not bloated lol) and Very passionate about fitness...(I became overweight in recent years with back to back kids) I'm unsure of my bf % but you can see my abs. I love to talk about fitness with who ever approaches me and family/friends who care to…
  • Yes I heard that the whole time I was losing weight... especially when my shape started to go. Lol I'm 5'8, 142lbs, size 2/4 on bottom and six on top now...Doing so much weight training has brought a nice shape to my "thinness" though; I'm a bit muscular now with some junk and I like it. Folks are used to the "new me" or…
  • Because you ARE a success! Way to not let him "steal" your joy at the accomplishments you've made thus far! Keep going!! :-)
  • Love it!! Love your response and more than anything love that you used an emotional situation as your catalyst to do what you needed to do... no excuses, you did it and made it about you and your health in the end. Great job!
  • I definitely had the question when I was bigger and when I lost the weight and had a bit of a belly for a period....I replied as one of the other posters did one time, "no just fat"....She looked mad at ME for making HER uncomfortable!! The nerve! LOL I do have four children (somewhat back to back) though so many were just…
  • I'm so curious @canadianlbs, what were your disappointments?! I'm 54 lbs down and have loose skin below my belly button (I'm thinking my four children played a role for certain).... I can say that when I'm bloated it's not discernible.... Of course I won't gain weight back to fill in the loose skin as my stomach/ torso has…
  • Yes, you just have to keep dropping... I had the reverse problem... lost everywhere else, but my upper arms were the most stubborn... they didn't fit the rest of me at all! I did find that weight training in a deficit allowed the rest of my body to continue looking nice/shapely while "getting leaner than I'd ideally like".…
  • Great job!!! You took years off!! Absolutely beautiful!
  • My arms hold my most stubborn fat! They are really starting to shrink now to match the rest of me FINALLY... the last area to go! For everyone who thinks that One area just won't respond, keep dropping your weight and lifting... you may be thinner than you'd like to be in the end, but it Will come off!
  • Great job!!
  • Wow, way to think it through under pressure!!
  • @sardelsa AWESOME, what was your hip thrust weight when you started and now?? Squats, deads, and lunges have given me SOME of my rear back since losing all my weight, however, I really need to consistently do the thrusts as you all are mentioning...I am still in the "can't be bothered group too, since I felt weird doing…
  • What everyone else said! :-) @KimmalyS, You are the ideal size and kept your curves! May I ask your height and weight??
  • Losing more fat off my upper body....I did a bulk for 4.5 months and now on my last week of cutting (a pretty intense 4 weeks, wouldn't do this again)... well the results are almost everything I wanted (visually and measurement wise) ...Now to set new goals which will start next week! :-)
  • Positives: 1.small waist 2. Increasing in athleticism 3. Younger looking Negatives: 1. upper arms are still a bit "flabby" and don't match the rest of me 2. Bust almost completely disappeared although my emerging pecs are compensating lol 3. Frequently hearing how I'm "disappearing" (5'8, 140) it's only an illusion... I…
