Happy Birthday! Fellow food addict here, did very well in the past two years of my journey by learning how to work within my addiction. Check out my profile and see if you would be interested in being my friend. :-)

Was morbidly obese since I was 4 years old. Type 2 Diabetic at 27, had to walk with a cane in my 30s. Turned it around 2 years ago, and with common sense diet and exercise. Dropped 115 lbs and 16 sizes. No longer Diabetic, healthiest and fittest I have ever been, and smaller than I was in 4th grade. Anyone is welcome to…

Anyone is welcome to check out my profile and add me as well. I'm good at giving positive comments, but not being harsh about your "failures". :-)

BREAD. Not only is it a binge trigger, it does nothing for me except make me want more. Even "good" breads like Ezekiel were a detriment for me rather than a benefit.

If you weren't flattered, you weren't flattered. Period. I know some people enjoy that, but if you don't, you don't. Respect your own feelings. Catcalling is more about the person doing it than the person on the receiving end of it. The catcaller doesn't care whether or not you like it. It's about them making their…

Drinking excessively. Or drugs, tbh. No judgment, but being altered and out of control is not my idea of a good time . Not an escape to me whatsoever. More like a nightmare. To each their own, though.

Quest bars. Most of the flavors. I need them!!

I use McCormick Grill Mates seasonings on veggies, carbs, and meat. Higher in sodium, but for those of us who don't need the restriction, they make it easier to get your macros, vitamins, and minerals in. OMG the Smokehouse Maple is crazy good, and takes care of my sweet cravings.

Feel free to add me if you like what you see on my profile. Best wishes, everyone!

Down another size and 7 more pounds since this pic. Working on recomposition currently. :-) Congrats to everyone who has made transformations through hard work and good choices!

MINDFULNESS! We could all use more of it, but those of us who go back to bad habits really need to hone these skills. Also, strive to develop your mind to want your health, fitness, and wellness (mental, emotional, social, self-worth, etc) more than you want the things that sabotage you. Doing this is different for each…

Cool pops!

Check out my profile and see if I could be helpful to you. :-) Goes for anyone!

Another woman and I were on the leg abductor and adductor machines. Both of us were in shorts, no big deal. There was a chain link wall separating our section from the weight room. We were right by the wall. A middle-aged man just stood right at the wall, fingers poking through the links, grasping them tightly, intensely…

Pretzels, anything made of cake, french fries, tacos, Chinese food, pizza. I will not only binge these mindlessly, but obsess over these for the rest of the day if I only have a bit. I have to be VERY careful.

I'm a recovering food addict, and I will tell you what worked for me. May not work for you! 1) I have one small piece of chocolate a day. I keep a bag of Hershey Kisses or Cadbury Eggs in my snack drawer. 20-25 calories per piece. I get that little indulgence to keep me going through the day. If at any time I break the…

Online, people see that I'm 5'6" and 169 lbs, and they assume that I have a proportionate chest. NOPE. A cup, maybe B- depending on the brand and style. I've disappointed a fair few people on first dates when I met them through online services. LOL

I lost 113 lbs. so far, and man.... my arms got nasty within 6 months of my weight loss journey. Once I started busting out bicep and tricep work, and began replacing the fat and filling in the bagginess with muscle, there was a big difference. Still have a ways to go, with still a lot of jiggle, stretch marks, and…

I was able to kick Type 2 Diabetes in under 14 months after having the diagnosis for over 10 years. It is possible. Thankfully my pancreas was in good shape, and it was all diet and exercise that needed changed. Best wishes to anyone with the goal of kicking Diabetes to the curb. Keep hope alive as well as yourself! <3

Hi, I'm Quinn! 39, Pennsylvania. I lost 112 lbs. since 2017. Always looking for friends of all ages on here, but especially those around my age who may understand me better than a 21 year old! I do appreciate younger people, and think everyone has something to offer everyone. :-) Please feel free to check out my profile…

Congrats!!

"You look like a totally different person now. You look great!" Maybe an oversensitivity, but dang.... was I so monstrous before?! That is the first thought that runs into my head when that is said to me.

Thank you! Everyone celebrating, stay safe out there. Keep fighting, and live in joy with your truth! #pansexualpride

Some of us, especially those of us who live on little money, get tired of having to buy new clothes. I've dropped 14 sizes, and have gone through at least 3 wardrobes. Even thrift store prices get to become a burden. At this point, I'm scouring 25 cent clothing piles at yard sales, and even yard sale leftovers left outside…

I'm in maintenance. I can't have full-on cheat days without regretting it hard. Cheat meals, sure, but not whole days. That much cheating makes going back to healthy habits the next day even harder. Easter Day turned out to be more than a cheat meal, and that next day, I felt like six kinds of garbage from eating poorly. I…

Adios diabetes and high blood pressure!
