https://www.fitbit.com/user/3LPDXV Just got this thing active again, feel free to add! I need some friends for motivation!

Thanks for all the advice. I have been eating a lot more fiber, it was TOM and I haven't been drinking nearly enough water. Recipe for bloat. Things are getting back to normal now.
-
Close to TOM - yes. Drink enough water - no. Drink too much soda - yes. Pregnant - no. I guess that answers my question!
-
Not sure how as my activity level has not changed much in the past 5 years. If anything, I'm more active now than I was a few months ago.

October 26 - 7.6 km (4.7 miles)

Thanks

Crap! So I had good intentions of starting this...and just didn't. I am starting tonight. Has anyone lost any weight from doing this challenge for almost a month now? I don't have much to lose, and I'm going to incorporate some other workouts with this as well. I just need to move for the time being. Feel free to friend me…

Question for those who have started - do you substitute other workouts for ones you don't necessarily want to do? For example, looking at the Speed 1.0, it looks more like a kickboxing-type program. I tried the kempo video from P90X in the past and struggled hard with the coordination (yes I'm clumsy). Also I just didn't…

Hi! I'm starting tomorrow. Would love to join in!

Thanks for your support. I've been eating well, I don't tend to turn to junky food when I'm stressed. I've been turning to beer which I know isn't good either. Not that I'm drinking myself into oblivion, but those two beers a day add up to the calorie count for sure.

Thanks. Right now the goal is to simplify my life, not complicate it. I was driving myself nuts trying to figure out how to schedule some exercise program into my day-to-day routines. Right now it's just not happening. I feel so much better knowing that I can walk each day, I can make small changes to my diet. I don't need…
-
I'll join as well. I've lost my motivation for exercise and am being bogged down by other stresses. Walking seems like a good way to combat both of these.

I just did my first yoga class last night. The instructor asked us newbies if we had any injuries or issues right off the bat. Then, before each new pose, she gave us modifiers. Even if she found we were struggling through some of them, she offered advice on how to alleviate the problem. Maybe try a different…

I went wheat free for awhile (because of Symptoms A, B and C) but started putting it back into my diet. I realized I still had Symptoms A, B and C while being gluten free, but to a much less scale. After slowly starting to introduce it back into my diet, the symptoms came with a vengeance. I tried, but I'm going to cut it…

Coconut, muffins, ciabatta loaf, pasta.

I'm starting this program today!
-
Oh...and lose about 10 lb.

LOL @ the term "WooWoo". Must attempt to use this in conversation in the near future... In all seriousness though, I have read about adrenal fatigue in the past and can see how one can be completely worn down after a long period of stress/illness/etc. But, I can't really say if I believe it is a medical condition as…

Thanks. I found this program that I thought I could stick with, only to realize I don't have a lot of the equipment needed at our condo gym. This is pretty much the norm because they are generally tiny and just have the basics. However, I'm moving in a month and the new gym actually has a dedicated area if you need the…

Going to be upping my calories. Tried 1200 and it wasn't enough for me. Looking to up them to about 1450 or 1500. Feel free to add me!
-
SO inspired by all these posts! I'm 132 lb right now, 5'5"-ish and would like to get down to 120 lb or so.
-
Definitely working on my diet as well. Thanks. I need to solidify my workout plan.
-
Agreed
-
I didn't cut other grains, just wheat. Thanks for the advice!

Okay....

After seriously considering this, I feel as though I may be too low. I'm basing this on the fact that yes, I am sacrificing nutrition for booze. I want to have my beer or two but want enough calories for it as well. With that in mind, I've chose new goals (loss of 0.5 lb a week) and have upped my calorie intake.
-
You are right. I looked at my goals and actually had it set to 1.5 lb a week. I changed it to 0.5 lb a week.
-
I rollerblade probably 3-4 times a week (30-45 minutes) and am doing body weight exercises. I'm at 132, looking to be 120 ish
-
Thanks, I am going to stick with it for a little longer, see if it still works for me.
-
You need a change to change. It's tough, I'm only a week in and some days are much harder to keep the motivation level high. I don't even think of any other reason why I shouldn't do it, I just tell myself it has to be done. Also, logging food has helped me tremendously. I never did this before thinking I never had to. I…
