Your body doesn't know or care whether you log calories. Your body just knows what you put into it, and how much you move. If you are making progress while not logging your calories, that's fine. But, for me and I suspect many others here, we need to keep track. Because not keeping track is what got us where we were before…

I'm right there with you. We had a family situation a few months ago, and it threw me completely off track. I ate whatever/whenever - caring but not caring - if you know what I mean. I gained 5 lbs back, but I wasn't at maintenance yet so I really need to get it together NOW. Today, I woke up ready to start again - or…

I'm several years into menopause, and I STILL get chocolate cravings at "that time of the month".

Rinse, dry, a small bit of seasoned flour, and then saute with onions in CHICKEN FAT.

Why do you say squash, peppers and green beans aren't vegetables?
-
I slice up a cucumber (with the skin on) and use the rounds instead of crackers. This works best with thin cucumbers, or the really long ones that are sometimes called English cucumbers - fewer seeds.

I like peanut butter on carrots. I never thought to shred the carrots and add them to PB sandwiches, but I may have to try that. I love crunchy food!

They're too expensive for me. It seems like it would be a nice gift for someone though. Like, someone recovering from surgery and they can't drive yet, or for new parents. Of course, that's only if they have time and like to actually cook.

This. Sounds. AWESOME!!! What temperature, and about how long do you recommend? Also, do you cook it in the skin? I want this for breakfast ASAP!

I'm on the east coast US. I should have said that in my OP.

Thank you, everyone! I'll check Walmart and Amazon. Thanks also for the tip to look for them in the baking aisle.

Yay, I'm so glad to help, and glad it was an easy fix.

Asparagus soup, maybe?

I make mine savory and spicy. I add cinnamon, cayenne, cumin, turmeric, garlic, and ginger. Sometimes I add chopped apples, sliced bananas, frozen cherries, and/or PB2.

It all depends on how dense the object is. A tablespoon of lead weighs a lot more than a tablespoon of feathers.

Thanks for the response.

You can do it! If you have your car's manual, it'll show you where to find the fuses, and have a chart to show which is which. Just be sure the replacement is the same number (amps) as the one you're replacing. Please come back and let me know it it worked!

What's the connection you're making between depleted soil and being overweight?

The background of the picture says something about a marinade. If the product you've got has a marinade or anything other than JUST salmon, that's why the calories are higher.

Audio books suck a lot of power. Check the fuses in your car! You can probably get your plugy-in places working for a dollar or two. It's a DIY thing.

I use PB2, mostly in my morning oatmeal. I also use it to make peanut sauces for stir-fries. I've never tried Jif peanut powder. I buy PB2 on Amazon.com

There are lots of threads about food for eating in the car. I'm going to address the other issue, which is no radio in your car. Do you have a smart phone or ipod? You can buy a very inexpensive speaker (or find one at a garage sale, freecycle or craigslist) and listen to music or audio books during your drive. I would go…

The product has probably settled (a LOT). I would count the actual gram weight and not the volume measure.

15% of 1200 is 180 15% of 2000 is 300

I keep a cooler in my car trunk, and I keep knives, forks, spoons and napkins in it. When I know I'm going to need it, I put a large ice pack in there. I've been known to have a "sudden picnic" and it's nice to be prepared! If I need a quick and low-calorie meal or snack and haven't brought something from home, I can…

This time of year is great for seasonal recipes. See what's freshest and on sale at the market, and then find recipes for it. That's the beauty of cell phones - I look up recipes while I'm in the market! I love fresh fish, and there are a million good ways to cook it, from simple poaching to something elaborate. You could…

Do you mean that you're eating at your desk in a cubicle? I'd find that depressing too, if it was all the time. Did your eating habits at work change when your relationship ended? Did you used to get out of the office for meal times? Try doing that again, even if it's by yourself. A change of scenery will make you feel…

If you open your diary, we can try to figure it out.
