  • Thanks. I updated the weight loss every week, but I guess I had to log in through the site and not the app. It has now updated.
  • I have read about the weight loss becoming stagnant which is why I began walking 5.5 miles daily to the gym after work. I wanted to take it up a notch. I am 15 pounds away from my amended goal and want to reach 215 by mid october.
  • I am motivated, I just wasn't sure if this was the norm. My initial goal was 225 by October, but ive now decided to go to 215. Thanks for the comments. Also, best of luck to all on your journey
  • I broke my ankle and was bedridden and when i went back to work my *kitten* didnt fit and my belts were uncomfortable. Also, i figured it was cheaper to lose weight than buy a whole be wardrobe. Im down 19.7 pounds in about six weeks so far
  • I use Met rx... It taste good, but it's extremely good and actually completely takes away my appetite. It has 240 calories and 39 grams of protein.
  • Unfortunately, that's the catch 22 I'm currently in. I wanted to lose 37 pounds and so far I'm down about 20. I work out three days a week minimum, walk 5 miles twice a week and only eat about 1600 calories daily, but I also wanted to gain muscle. I figured after I take off the next 17 pounds I would increase my calorie…
  • I slightly over indulge on my cheat day, but never exceed 2500 calories which is my daily goal. I plan my cheat day ahead used based around a social gathering.. I find it very helpful and a relief sometimes from eating salad daily. However, for some, it takes you off course so i would say it depends on how you are. You…
  • When I began three weeks ago I swore off drinking because I want all my calories to come from food and not liquor or juice. However, last week I had one beer and two drinks the previous week. Since it's hard for me to see everyone else drinking around me, I opt to not attend social gatherings it's difficult, but the only…
  • Correct, I lost 15.5 in three weeks. Basically just by totaling changing my eating habits and no junk or fried foods other than my cheat day. Also, I go to the gym three times a week. It's not recommended that you lose so much weight so soon, but it also depends on what your weight is when you begin. Congrats on your…
  • I'll bump my calorie intake up also and hopefully the weight still comes off. I go to the gym three times a week and walk everyday for 25 mins or so

  • I will start with the free weights this upcoming week. I just wanted to get back accustomed to the gym

  • But I'm not starving myself by any means. I just select healthy options with relatively low calories. I eat fruits and vegetables, wraps, steak, tuna, etc

  • I understand what you're saying. I am definitely weight training now. I come three times a week and do four sets and 10 reps of basically every machine at the gym. I'm relatively new so I'm learning on the fly about working and things of the sort. Thanks for the advice.

  • I don't starve myself and I eat three meals. Have two snacks and a protein shake on days I eat. I've been thinking about increasing the calorie intake a bit because I wanted to add some muscle along with weight loss. I suffered a broken ankle and gain a lot of weight while I was bedridden... I've just about took off all te…

  • Yes, i previously had a heart murmur, but I was very active prior to my broken ankle. I played basketball at a high level two to three days a week. I believe I exerted myself too much. I was used a few machines and did four sets with 15 reps... Its way too much for a first day back. I will stick with the bike only for now.
