I have had the same issue every time I start a workout routine. And every time, until now, I quit because of it. However, I have now been working out for 4 months consistently (a new record for me, lifestyle change this time!) and started losing again after the 1st month. Keep at it, you can do this!!

I started at 287 lbs and lost down to 160lbs. I regained to 225 lbs and am currently at 179. IT CAN be done, I am proof. I have been overweight since I hit puberty! Your doctor is WRONG!

Had to buy a new belt today! My husband just put a hole in it for me 4 weeks ago. That is 2.5 inches gone in my waist!

Yes! I manage a convenience store. The whole place screams unhealthy!! And it yells at me daily, Fresh donuts and pizza!! ;)

I didn't do push ups or sit ups! I was exhausted after work. But, I did my run yesterday and am moving on to week 3 tomorrow. I am nervous about it, not sure about 2.5 minute run but I will give it my best effort!

I am in South Dakota. I am looking forward to it getting cooler also, but NOT looking forward to winter!! Brrr! It gets pretty cold here sometimes, but the wind is the worst part!

I am using the Fitness 22 app. I really like it. However, the distance is not very accurate. My last run it said I went 16km. Ummm....nope! :wink:

Yes! Running on grass would be way more difficult for me! I go to the local bike/walk path. It's by the river and provides great scenery! It's also only a 4 minute drive from my house, which I nice. I live in the Midwest and winter will be here soon. I'm not sure if I will be dedicated enough to run outside in the winter…

After 3 months of on plan eating, I ate a pint of Ben and Jerry's Half Baked last night. I just reminded myself that I didn't get fat by eating a pint of ice cream once every three months!!! :wink: Today was an awesome workout and right back at it on my healthy eating!

I follow Atkins 20 plan and go through the same thing. For me, I discovered it was more psychological than physiological. You may need to lose a little more before you start to feel the difference in your clothes. Usually, someone with more to lose takes more pounds lost to see results. It's all very individual. However, if you are eating right and exercising, you are making healthy choices and that's what matters in the long term. :)
