Maintaining weight is a balancing act. I recently left weight watchers after reaching lifetime. You need to continue eating healthy which for me is lean protein fruits veggies and healthy carbs. Simple. Don't go back to old eating habits. Stay active and keep changing it up. I have successfully stayed at a healthy weight. It can be done.

I understand your pain. I am also a cookie monster. Some advice? Keep cookies out of the house. If you really want some get a small pack from a vending machine or store. Try not to eat more than 2 small packs a week and make sure to exercise most days.

I love my Zumba workout DVDs. I have the Zumba exhillerate and total incredible results dvd sets.

My moment was when I had difficulty sleeping at night and night sweats. I didn't Like the way my body looked in the mirror. I faced the scale and knew I had to do something and make a change.

I used weight watchers the gym and doing Zumba DVDs walking at work. I became a lifetime member. I left weight watchers but continue to maintain my weight loss.

I usually eat a little over my calorie goal and exercise 6 days a week. I always have a deficit on those 6 days.

I am also 5 ft 8 and I'm in the low 160s. You will need to keep trigger foods like twinkies out of the house.

Yes bfanny I want to learn how to maintain a healthy lifestyle without weight watchers now. I was with them for over 2 years. I have learned what I needed to know. It's time for change. I will not go back to old eating habits and use my fitness pal to track my activities and calorie intake. I am going to a gym regularly…

Thanks Alatarie! I realized I need to start learning how to do this on my own without being penalized every time I go 2 pounds above my goal weight. I've outgrown that now with weight watchers but I'm thankful that they helped me lose the weight. It doesn't work for everybody though.

I also cancelled my ww lifetime membership. I was with them for over 2 years but now I am trying to maintain on my own through fitness pal a gym membership and walking at work.
