If I want to eat cookies, I try to fit them into my daily calorie target. That means, eat cookies in moderation (i.e. just a couple, instead of the whole dozen) in one day.
I found that I prefer homemade cookies ( oatmeal with raisins) rather than commercially off the shelf. It has less additives.
Good luck in your healthy journey

Don't buy (or make) cookies then? Or, create a larger deficit through exercise and purchase only one.

It's not like cookies are necessary to build a healthy daily diet.

100% that. ;) , I can eat cookies everyday if I want to, but moderation is the key for me.

Ahhh...the siren call of ginger and walnut with a dash of cinnamon...I love my cookies, too. If the temptation to have more than your calorie budget allows is proving too hard to resist, I'm sure you've got a friend who could "hold" them for you.

I love cookies, too. I do not keep them in the house though. I know better. I do make homemade ones about every 3 months or so, but I eat just a few and ask my husband to take the rest to work right away.

I understand your pain. I am also a cookie monster. Some advice? Keep cookies out of the house. If you really want some get a small pack from a vending machine or store. Try not to eat more than 2 small packs a week and make sure to exercise most days.

I like cookies. I do. When I see them at the store I want to buy a package. I don't. That is because I know that I will want to eat the entire pack.
