I'm surprised the 90-second runs seemed easier the first time. My legs are more sore as well. I must say I'm not exactly looking forward to Thursday :D @DeeDiddyGee, you said you were on holiday, yes? Are you relaxing at home, or have you gone somewhere?

Did it this morning and I wish I could say it was getting easier for me as well... I ended swearing under my breath a few times, but I guess I didn't give up so that counts. I see that Week 3 has you running 3 minutes. I'm going to be stuck repeating Week 2 for a while, then!

Finally did Week 1 Day 3 this morning, and it wasn't too horrible! :D I'll probably repeat it once or maybe even twice, before moving on to Week 2.

You're doing great! I still haven't completed W1... :s I've been very busy lately and some days I haven't felt able to do more than just walk, but I'm starting to rely on excuses too much, so I'm definitely going to do it on Tuesday morning!!

Hmm, I woke up late (also in a sweat, which I bloody hate!) and really didn't feel like working out. So I'm afraid I didn't do Week 1 Day 3, but I went on the elliptical trainer so I still count that as a big victory because I really didn't feel like it at all ;)

I went walking on Saturday and Sunday morning, and I should be OK for Week 1 Day 3 tomorrow. I'll probably repeat it on Thursday, and then start Week 2 on Saturday.

Shark Week started this morning, so there won't be any running on Saturday. If I feel OK I'll walk instead. I know they say a little exercise is good, but not when you feel like death warmed over :s

Are you sure?? You're supposed to have a rest day between each workout. I actually needed 3!! Or are you already used to running?

The small park 5 minutes away from here has a paved path that goes all the way around it, so that's what I run on. Similar to pavement, I suppose. It's mostly flat and thank G*d for that because I know changes in elevation would be the end of me... :s

Same here. Don't want to hear myself huffing and puffing! I occasionally check I'm not making too much noise, though. Don't want to scare the dog walkers :D

Second workout done this morning! It seemed a little harder when I started, but I think I was trying to go too fast while running. So I slowed down, and made sure to walk fast, and I did it. Week 1 Day 2 done! Seemed harder to start with, but afterwards I took a slightly longer route home for some extra walking/stretching. I would have liked to stay in the park a little longer, if I'm honest, but I had to come back to finish my work. All done now!

I'm glad I've started this at this time of year, when the temperature starts dropping (it only gets to about 13°C / 55°F here now), so I can wear a few layers. Because there's a good amount of jiggle going on, and I wouldn't want to be doing it in only trousers and a sleeveless top! :D Hopefully, if I'm running regularly…

Oh I see. So it's not a kind of challenge, were you start on October 1st and you have X weeks to do the program? If I join now and go at my own pace (i.e. sometimes more than a week to do 3 workouts), I can still post in all the threads as I slowly work my way through it?

I'd have liked to join your group, but unfortunately it doesn't look like I can keep a strict schedule at the moment, what with the unpredictable workflow (part of the joy of being self-employed) and the longer resting periods. Thank you for telling me about it, though!
