Generally, you need to lose fat to lose inches. I've lost anywhere from 0 to nearly 2 inches in a little over 30 days. Half an inch, is pretty good! Fat will come off different places in your body, maybe even different places at once. Which COULD mean only a small measurement lost at a time.

My go to meal/snack is mashed black beans with added seasoning. Either plain, or in a tortilla (I use both flour and corn tortillas). It may not be for am everyone, I LOVE black beans lol

I don't really do much before weight training, other than stretching. I usually do 15-20 minutes of cardio (Dance, Run, Video etc - Mostly the priors) after weight training. - Which will last anywhere from 30-45 minutes. I then ensure I walk 10k steps a day (MAYBE burning an additional 215 cals) I generally eat anywhere…

At least it's not 8 lbs :p ... When I began weight training (about 4 weeks ago) I jumped up 8 lbs. Luckily, it's been going down - slowly. As of this morning, I was 1lb less than before I began. Give it time, don't sweat it ;)

I use Runtastic as well for intentional exercise walks/runs, along with a heart rate monitor. Usually, they're both close in numbers. Runtastic is also pretty close to MFP and other calculators. Personally, weight on a man doesn't bother me. It's usually the willful ignorance, dbag attitude etc I find unattractive. I've known men who prefer larger women and men who prefer smaller, fit women. I believe it's the personality that usually makes the connection between two people.

Not too bad. (Jinjer) That's probably the first female metal vocalist (aside from eluveitie, which is more of a folk/metal mix IMO) that I haven't thought was utter crap. I usually like a little more of a melody in the music then what they have in that particular song though.

Any intentional exercise, you should log. Example: 1 hour of running at x speed, or 30 minutes of aerobics/swimming etc. I wouldn't bother logging anything less than 10 minutes. I usually get up early, do strength training/cardio for about 1-1.5 hrs. Work 9-5, come home then take an hour long walk.
