I'm the OP. For me the treadmill is the only option thanks to my kids and full time job! So when I log calories burned, I'd like to know if MFP is accurate according to the treadmill...

Thanks for all the advice! Think I'll need to swim for some time instead..

Kind of like a Hells Kitchen punishment lol
-
Pcos could really do that to you if you have insulin resistance. Do you eat high carb?
-
Feel free to add me too. I'm 33, working full time and a mom of twins :)
-
If you're an Insanity Max 30 fan, it's on sale today on Amazon.

I know :( But ugh. I need to be more prepared and then maybe... Deep down I really want to since I know it's gonna work...

Running usually helps. I don't always have the time or energy for it... Sometimes I feel like I need a temporary liquid diet but I'm not ready for that step YET lol

I can't live with the pain and bloat which is why I avoid all of my trigger foods. But stress plays a HUGE role and I have a flare up every once in a while anyway :(
-
How do you handle?
-
Interesting.... I guess I could try drinking more and see how it is. I thought maybe the bloat was a common thing.
-
I'm a runner! Add me :)

I always cook differently for dh and kids. I try to cook healthy but I have no customers for cooked vegetables and whole wheat products :(

True but the bloat is real! I find that I have a hard time controlling my appetite when I'm bloated so it's good to be mindful
-
My experience with prometrium is bloat. As long as you try to control your appetite, the bloat WILL go down.
-
Interesting! I'm not new to LC at all but I recently started running again.
-
I'd love to have some low fodmap friends! Add me too :)
-
Being active is amazing for bloating from ibs. I find that if I'm feeling distended from eating something wrong, and then I go for a run, I automatically feel somewhat better.
-
I run so squats and lunges help me with training lower body.
-
Thanks! I just ordered it :)
-
What kind of magnesium do you take ?
-
Eating low carb is the only way my constipation is under control. Works wonders :)

One question I have: why is it that when training one has a hard time losing weight? I'm in maintenance so I'm not trying to lose, but I do feel slightly heavier since training...
-
Thanks all of you for your advice. I think I feel ok and will play it by ear to see how long I could run later.
-
I'm 5'3" and I maintain on 1500. I do eat back most exercise calories as I love to run 6-8 miles 4 times a week. 1500 for me is what MFP gave me but I've been eating more and maintaining fine. So I guess I eat about 1750.
