i hear you on this. i was told to increase my calorie intake and cut down a bit on my cardio by my PT in order to build muscle and it still sits funny in my head so i know how you are feeling. i can SEE definition coming on my arms and i am definitely stronger but the mental resolve is definitely hard to adjust to

I added you too! I'm also new to lifting

Best thing I ever did! Body shape changed completely. I'm a huge Shaun T fan. Best of luck with your program!
-
Hi there. I am currently 150 lbs and feel pretty good at that weight. Starting a structured weight lifting program in a fortnight though so I am sure this will go up a bit as a result!
-
I did T25, alpha, beta and gamma and all I can say is that it's the best thing I ever decided to do. Shaun T is an incredible motivator and I can truly say this guy has changed my life. My body shape changed so much after just alpha and it spurred me on to hit the gym as well and I'm so pleased with my results. My cardio…

Great work all of you ☺️

I can finally do proper push ups! I couldn't do even ONE before Christmas!
-
You look absolutely smashing! Well done girlfrien'!

A true inspiration! My weight has yo-yo'd 3 times in my adult life and despite stretch marks which have now faded my belly is the only part of me that hadn't fared well. I'm hoping it will improve and be less noticeable but in some ways it's proof of how far I have come and is something I am partly proud of, if that makes…

You look great! V pretty at either size

Firstly you look amazing. Secondly, I hate the scales too. There are too many variables that we cannot pin point as to why the numbers go up or down. Even when I have been good and worked my butt off in the gym or whatever I can put 4lbs on. It CANNOT be fat I know that, but it still makes me feel rubbish. I just tell…

Anyone who wants to add me feel free! Iv been logging away on here for the last 150 days or so. This is the third time I have lost a large amount of weight in my adult life and I'm determined to keep it up. I'm really motivated and love working out so if anyone needs a friendly ear I am here ☺️
-
Always looking for new MFP buddies! Especially anyone to share my love of Shaun T ha ha! Feel free to add!

I ate a whole dominos pizza and had wine! Felt a little bad about it but I went spinning this morning and did insanity max 30 so feel a little less guilty ☺️
-
Feel free to add me too. That goes for anyone on here ☺️

I have recently transitioned to maintenance and so far so good! Still loving logging and working out
-
Check out beachbody.com all you need for a lot of their workouts is space in front of your tv. I swear by Shaun T

Brilliant thread guys xx

I love this thread! Actually looking forward to working out which I never used to when I was bigger...including going jogging in the street. Wearing sleeveless tops and vests without worrying about how my arms look.... And also finding shaving my pits really hard work now they are so concave ha ha! Waking up every day and…

I had a colleague look me up and down in disgust last week as in her opinion "im too skinny". However everyone else in my life who's opinion I value say I look really good and healthy.....but with that golden nugget comment of "dont lose any more". Funny how when I weighed 245lbs no one ever commented on my size but now…
-
Loved reading this thread guys so thank you! I'm eager to start my calorie increase and aim for maintenance now but I am genuinely a bit fearful (mad I know!) This has made me feel a little better
-
I'm on my last 8lbs. V frustrating week as worked my butt off with no movement on the scales. It's so disheartening isn't it?

You have done amazingly well in such a short space of time. Your body is most likely clinging onto everything it can nutrition wise for a time until it readjusts to its new weight. Hang on in there. If you are doing everything right and eating in a deficit you should start losing again soon.
