    Pick a beginners program. Some that I know of are
    - Stronglifts 5x5
    - Ice Cream Fitness 5x5
    - New Rules of Lifting for Women
    - Strong Curves
    - Starting Strength

    Bodybuilding.com also has a bunch of free programs.

    Stronglifts 5x5 and Ice Cream Fitness 5x5 are both free. They are very similar. ICF has some extra lifts, but the main lifts are identical to Stronglifts. Stronglifts has a free app.

    New Rules of Lifting for Women and Strong Curves are books. I've heard both are good reads, but I haven't actually read either yet.

    I don't know much about Starting Strength. I have just seen it mentioned a few times.

    I'm also new to lifting! I do Upper/Lower splits 4x per week with some static or HIIT cardio afterward, 2 rest days per week. Right now my goals are weight loss and conditioning. My sets are usually 3/6 for the heavy workouts (squat, bench, deadlift) and 3/12 for the smaller ones (lat pulldowns, bench pullovers, rows, etc.) I've lost about 20 lbs since Jan 1.
