Idk if you weigh everyday or not but once I started noticing daily fluctuations & recording them it helped me to see that I was actually losing just at a slower rate. Then BAM I all of a sudden was down 2 lbs. It'll happen dont give up, a month isnt that long.

Its not that I'm worried about gaining the weight during my vacation (which I did say above). I'm more worred about falling off the MFP logging bandwagon.

True true. When I was student teaching I didnt eat much and was stressed a bit and lost like 5 lbs in a few weeks. I just have to manage to keep it off this time! I always lose the weight and go back and I AM NOT doing it this time around.

Well I have been doing MFP since Jan. and have consistently lost .5 a week some weeks a little more. So I've just been lucky!

Well I first figured it was water weight or something and it wouldn't last but it is the week before my TOM and normally my weight goes up that week so I am pretty happy to say the least. My short term GW was 130 for the beginning of June and if I really am 127-128 then I am already ahead of the game!

Just accept that some days you are going to over eat or not be happy with the # on the scale BUT that doesnt mean you should lose hope. I promise you just keep going and it will all be worth it. If you give up it wont do anything but make you stay the same or gain weight, why not just keep continuing on and working at it…

You didnt mention if you are weighing everything on a food scale? I used to be against the food scale (not sure why just lazy probably) and once I started using it my weight gradually has decreased every week for the last 15 weeks.

It just depends some months I am the same and sometimes the week before my TOM and that week my weight goes up by 2-4 lbs. I always find the week before my period is worse. I KNOW I am not that hungry really but I feel like I could just eat everything in sight!

I actually use a small bowl when I eat ice cream or cereal so it looks like I'm eating way more then I am.

I'm confused..it takes me about 20-30 seconds to log my calories and some days I log everything in the morning and log the rest at night when I am relaxing. You're doing something wrong if thats all youre doing is logging calories. I mean I maybe take 5 min out of my day logging my calories.

Weigh and measure everything that you eat, and be honest with yourself. Dont set unrealistic goals for yourself either they will only set you up to fail. Good luck you've got this!

I feel like 120 is pretty skinny for 5"7. I'm 5"3 and 129 and I look decent. I dont imagine why youd wanna go down anymore, maybe try building some muscle now!

I mostly eat what I want and make it fit into my calorie goals for the day BUT on Saturdays I tend to go out to eat or out for drinks sometimes both so I eat at maintenance for the day. Very true. Its really hard though when someone pretty much begs you and is in so much pain and its your best friend/cousin. I felt like I couldn't say no. Now I'm regretting it.

Eh about two months after I first started I bought new pants and I went down a pants size. Now after 4 months on MFP and tracking I have noticed in my clothes and when I look in the mirror I can tell a diff.
