I cannot stop weighing in every morning! I've gotten over the frustrations of day to day fluctuations but cannot stop myself!

I too weigh daily-after bathroom before getting dressed and eating.
I only track it when it goes down. ie my weight says 173.6 at the moment on my tracker. I was 174 this am but I didn't record that. I was 173.4 yesterday. Give me 3 or so lower days and then I record.
Works for me and over 30 lbs down.6 -
lol same here. but after gaining back 1lb I have vowed to wait 1 week before weighing again.1

Once a month. I was getting obsessed and the fluctuations would get me down ha so now I weigh at the end of every period..I know I'll b lowest weight then!2

Every morning, and I also don't fret small differences, but I still record daily just because I'm neurotic like that1

I usually weigh myself using the bathroom once I wake up and then again sometime later in the day to see if it's the same. It can be kind of stressful bc it fluctuates lol1

Same here. I only track it when it goes down. I won't track it if it climbs a little due to our female bodies gaining water weight due to you know what. I check it every few days. It used to be on Thursday mornings after bathroom use, before getting dressed but then I hit a plateau and got discouraged so now i track when i see at least 2 pounds down.

I weigh every morning but only record it on Fridays if I remember to do it LOL.2

Daily, first thing in the morning after bathroom. Done it for YEARS. Only record weekly weight, however. I've accepted the daily fluctuations. Unfortunately, I haven't been proactive enough to do something about the upward trend - but now ... lookout scale, I'm coming for ya!4

Every Friday or Saturday morning - or both.1

Pretty much daily and I'm used to normal fluctuations...that said: if I know I have overdone it on my sodium levels (think Pizza, Mexican, Chinese) then I usually stay away for a couple days...for my sanity only!3

I weigh myself weekly on Saturday.1

Daily, I just like to see where I am.1

every day. i track my weight daily in an app called Happy Scale and it tracks trends and makes predictions. the more entries, the more precise it can be. by looking at overall trends, you don't see the plateaus that mfp shows. someone did an excellent post about it this week, but i can't find it now.1

I actually weigh myself daily as soon as i get up. I understand that most people shouldnt do this but i like having all the data and can use it against my food lkvs to see what causes fluctuations. For example. If i have a high salt meal one day i know for a fact that my weight can rise by as much as 2lbs the following day due to water retention. You also need to take into account when you had your last......movement
On the other hand some people who dont delve as deeply into it as myself may get discouraged when the weight goes up one day.1 -
every other Wednesday in my Doctor office1

I get on the scale every morning and I know it's an unhealthy obsession but I only record once a week on a Saturday regardless of whether it's gone up or down.2
-
I weigh myself every morning too, unless the day before was a splurge day in which case I stay away from the scale for a day or so.1

Never, don't have a scale.3

I weigh myself daily and record it almost every day. I like having the information and tracking the overall trend.1

I weigh every morning, like others after using the bathroom and before getting dressed. I don't get stressed at small fluctuations since I know they are normal. If my weight goes up too much I go back and see what I have been eating or if I was exercising or maybe I was out of town for a weekend and not being as good as I would like to be. For me, weighing daily is motivating. If my weight goes up, I exercise a little harder to get the weight going the other direction. If my weight goes down, I know I am doing things right and I exercise a little harder so I can continue to see that result. I record my weight daily since I like to go back and look at trends. Like the time my weight shot up when I thought caramel corn sounded like a good idea. I can see how long it took me to get rid of that caramel corn and I haven't chosen to repeat that little indulgence.1

I weigh one or twice per week. The second time is only if I feel or see something different about my body.1
-
Like a few others on here, I weigh in daily, and only record when the weight drops. Keeps me focused, and it's nice to see good results, or be able to react quickly if I gain - I can double check foood measurements, and make sure I'm logging everything, etc.1
-
once a week but prob going to do it once every 2 weeks from now on1
-
I weigh every morning with a curious mind. Make a guess before jumping on. After getting off, take a few minutes to reflect on yesterday eating. I don't get sad or very happy with any result.
That's how I train to be in tune with my behaviors.

Once a week for me. Either Thursday or Friday, they way I can enjoy my weekend and not worry about a Monday weigh-in!0
