I agree with this. I eat almost the same things (some healthier choices) as I did before, aND changed my portion sizes. I'm down almost 57 pounds in 8 months. I also agree with the person above, you need to evaluate what your nutritionist wants from you.

I also wanted to add, I've tried MFP 3 other times. It wasn't until this time that I was really doing it. This time was different.

I threw everything out junk related. I only have granola bars as snacks. My enemy is chocolate. So instead of going crazy and binging on all that, I will have a granola/ fiber bar instead. It's easier said than done. Whatever you feel stops you from eating healthier, it needs to go. Or...if you have enough calories, you…

I too buy bread that is 40 calories per slice, 80 calories for 2 slices is great! The brand is Nature's harvest.

You could use Almond Milk instead of Milk. For 8oz of almond milk is 30 calories.

Then that would be where I messed up. I just thought because I wasn't constantly moving for 8 hours and sweating, I would be considered sedentary.
-
I'm a stay at home mom. I just considered myself sedentary. My son is 2 yrs, so he has me going, and with house chores and what not, but didn't think anything more than sedentary level.

I currently don't exercise. I plan to start soon, but don't.
-
Thank you. Yes, some days are harder than others. I do plan on exercising soon.
-
Thanks!

I don't exercise. I plan to start soon, but haven't.

I have lost a little over 56 pounds so far and I get comments all the time from my friends or family. You will definitely notice, it's a big difference.

Yes, it's so tough. It does get easier as you go. I don't know how long you have been doing MFP, but for me, it just started to get easier with my self control over chocolate. And I have been doing this for almost 8 months, lol.
-
And with the Easter candy, that got put into a bag and sent with my husband to work to give to his coworkers. LoL!!
-
It's so hard for me! I could eat chocolate all day, lol. I try not to have it in the house. The only kind I let myself keep in our house is the chocolate chip granola bars or the fiber one oat bars. I find having one helps me.

I drink about a gallon of water a day. I feel great drinking this amount. I don't do it for weight reasons, but I have lost a little over 56 lbs.
-
Yes, I know this. That's why I suggested the 40 calories one. If people want to eat bread, there are lower calorie ones. I did not know this until I started counting my calories, so maybe others may not either.
-
I completely agree with you. I'm the same way.☺
-
I weigh myself everyday. I like being able to know my weight, and seeing how it fluctuates. I only record my weight once there is a loss.
-
There's 40 calorie per slice bread. ☺
-
I think exercising or some form of it is good for everyone. I stay active, but don't exercise. I have lost almost 55 lbs without exercise. I do plan on walking/jogging once it gets nice out.
-
Just curious, what do you do to lose weight?
-
Counting calories works for me, I'm down 53 lbs. I felt like they said certain things to scare you into buying what they're selling. At the bottom it has a link to be on their presale.

This exactly!

I use black tea bags, no sugar added. I will do this for the day: I use my keurige for hot water, put 10 tea bags in a coffee cup, let them sit for 5 mins or so. Then I add that to a gallon of cold water, not the tea bags though.
-
This is exactly me! I eat all that too, and have lost 51 lbs. You just measure and count everything. I buy whole wheat bread for only 40 calories a slice. It taste good, and I eat it everyday.
-
Way less calories. ☺
-
I have lost 50.2 lbs so far and still don't exercise. I started counting my calories in August 2015, and I noticed I was losing weight right away. I eat the same foods, just a lot less than what I used to. I did change some foods for lower calorie foods. For example: bread, I now eat whole wheat and for one slice only 40…

If you tell me your height and weight I can do it for you. If you can't figure it out or need help, I can help.

Google "BMI Calculator " You can see what your current is and it will tell you if you're in the normal range. If you're not, play with the numbers and then you can see what your goal weight can be.
